تعبير رجالي "ثقه"؛ معناي لغوي يا اصطلاحي؟

Interpretation of "Seqeh" from the Perspective of Rejal Discipline: Lexical or Idiomatic Meaning?

اعتبار توثيقات موجود در اصول متقدّم و متاخّر رجالي شيعه به سبب عدم تدوين آنها در زمان حضور راويان، با شبهه حدسي بودن مواجه است كه بر فرض قبول آن، باب علم توثيق "منسدّ" خواهد شد و عملاً بسياري از روايات، از دايره حجّيت و اعتبار بيرون خواهند رفت؛ حال آنكه با تكيه بر مبناي وثوق و اطمينان به آرا رجالي و اعتماد به قراين، راويان بسياري حتّي از سوي رجاليان متاخر قابليّت توثيق مي‌يابند. يكي از اين قراين،‌ توجّه به كاربرد واژه رجالي "ثقه" و معناي مستفاد از آن در توثيقات رجالي است كه خود نشانه حصول اطمينان به راوي نزد رجاليان است؛‌ آنچه مبناي دقيق اعتبار توثيقات رجالي است؛ زيرا واژه "ثقه" در تعبير رجاليان به معناي لغوي يعني "مورد وثوق و اطمينان بودن راوي" به كار رفته است؛ نه معناي اصطلاحي آن كه مشتمل بر مفهوم"عادل ضابط امامي" است. با اذعان به اين معنا، پذيرش روايات راويان ثقه به سبب مورد اطمينان بودن آنان است و اين امري است كه در دوره متاخّر نيز مي‌توان با توجّه به قراين و شواهد گوناگون به آن دست يافت.

Doubts have been raised about the validity of the existing tothiqat (authentications) in the early and later sources of Shiite Rejal (study of hadith narrators) on the grounds that they were not compiled during the lifetime of the narrators. Acceptance of this assumption will lead to closing the door of tothiq (authentication) and a lot of narrations will lose their authority. On the contrary, reliance on the vothuq (authentithity) basis, the views of hadith authorities and the existing indications will lead to authentication of a large number of narrators even from the viewpoint of later hadith authorities. One of such indications is observation of the application of the word seqeh (one whose trustworthiness has been verified) and what it signifies in the authentications of hadith authorities, which can assure hadith authorities of the credibility of a narrator, since the word seqeh denotes trustworthiness of the narrator for hadith authorities. Accordingly, narrations of the trustworthy narrators are accepted due to their credibility and this is something which can be practiced in modern era on the basis of various indications and evidence.
