عوامل موثر بر انتخاب موضوع تحقيقات علمي دانشجويان رشته جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي روستايي

Effective Factors on the Selection of Scientific Research Topic of Graduate Students Majoring Rural Geography and Planning

بخش زيادي از تحقيقات روستايي كشور را دانشجويان دوره تحصيلات تكميلي رشته جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي روستايي در قالب پايان‌نامه/ رساله انجام مي‌دهند. اولين شرط دستيابي به حداكثر كارايي پايان‌نامه/رساله اين دانشجويان، انتخاب موضوعهاي مناسب براي اين تحقيقات است؛ از اين رو، پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسايي عوامل موثر بر انتخاب موضوع پايان‌نامه/رساله هاي دانشجويان رشته جغرافيا و برنامه ريزي روستايي انجام شده است. اين پژوهش از نوع توصيفي- تحليلي است و با تركيب دو شيوه اسنادي و پيمايشي انجام شده است. جامعه آماري مشتمل بر دانشجويان (161 نفر) و اعضاي هييت-علمي (20 نفر) رشته جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي روستايي دانشگاههاي دولتي سطح شهر تهران است كه به روش سهميه‌بندي تعداد 100 نفر از دانشجويان و به روش تمام‌شماري تعداد 20 نفر از اعضاي هييت علمي به عنوان نمونه‌ انتخاب شدند. ابزار تحقيق شامل پرسشنامه محقق ساخته است كه براي اطمينان از روايي آن به افراد صاحبنظر در رشته جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي روستايي مراجعه شد و پايايي آن با استفاده از آزمون همساني دروني آلفاي كرونباخ به ميزان 79/0 احراز شد. براي تحليل داده‌هاي پرسشنامه از آزمونهاي آماري چون توزيع فراواني، تعيين ميانگين، محاسبه متوسط ميانگين، تحليل عاملي، آزمون تي (t-test) و ويل‌كاكسون استفاده شد. نتايج به‌دست آمده از تحليل عاملي نشان داد كه پنج دسته از عوامل شامل محيط دانشگاه، علاقه شخصي دانشجو، زمان و سهولت دسترسي به منابع، ارتباط با سازمانها و نهادها و تعلق مكاني در انتخاب موضوع پايان‌نامه/رساله‌هاي دانشجويان موثر بودند كه در بين اين عوامل محيط دانشگاه بيشترين تاثير را داشته است. نتايج تحقيق بيانگر آن است كه دانشجويان در مرحله انتخاب موضوع كمتر به مسايل، مشكلات و نيازهاي جامعه روستايي توجه داشته‌اند.

The majority of studies in rural fields are done in forms of thesis and dissertations by geography and rural planning graduate students. First prerequisite for maximization of efficiency in the researches requires selection of suitable topics. Therefore, the purpose of this current research was to identify effective factors on the selection of scientific research topic of graduate students majoring Rural Geography and Planning. An analytical– descriptive method was used in this study by combining documentary and survey procedures. Population of study included university professors (20 people) and students (161 people) in Geography and Rural Planning field in Tehran’s public universities. A total of 100 students were selected by quota sampling method and 20 professors through convenience approach. Research tool was a researcher made questionnaire that its reliability was establish through experts in Geography and Rural Planning (Cronbachʹs alpha= .79). For Statistical analysis of data, tests such as frequency distribution, means, factor analysis, t tests and Wilcoxon test were used. The results of factor analysis showed that five factors including the academic environment, studentʹs personal interests, time and ease of access to resources, relation with institutions and organizations and place attachment had most effects on student’s selection of thesis and dissertation topics. Among these factors, university environment had the most effect. The results indicated that the students had less attention to the issues, problems and needs of rural communities.
