The Role of Energy in Developing Relations between Turkey and Russia

روابط روسيه و تركيه در يك دهه گذشته با رشد و توسعه فزاينده‌اي روبرو بوده است. بر خلاف دوران جنگ سرد كه نگرش‌هاي حاكم بر روابط تركيه و اتحاد شوروي از اصول ايديولوژيك ناشي مي‌شد، در سال‌هاي اخير منافع اقتصادي، سياسي و ژيوپليتيك و همچنين شرايط جديد جهاني‌شدن نقش تعيين كننده‌اي در اين روابط داشته‌اند. در ميان عوامل متعددي كه در سالهاي اخير بر روابط روسيه و تركيه تاثير گذاشته‌اند، عامل انرژي اهميت بسيار زيادي دارد. همكاري در حوزه انرژي، نقش مهمي در ترويج اعتماد متقابل و ايجاد روابط خوب ميان اين دو كشور داشته است. از اين‌رو در اين نوشتار كوشش شده به اين سوال اساسي پاسخ داده شود كه «چه عاملي نقش تعيين‌ كننده در توسعه روابط روسيه و تركيه در يك دهه اخير داشته است»؟

Abstract The relation between Russia and Turkey has experienced increasingly growth and development in last decade. Although the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, Union of Soviet Socialist Republic was the first country to recognize the independence of Turkey; But after World War II and the bipolar international system, During the Cold War, Ankara joined the West Block and NATO membership revenue. This dichotomy led by highly strained relations between Moscow and Ankara, and the two countries are considered to be enemies again for 40 years. Despite cold war period that ideological principle determined the relations of two countries, in recent years the economic, political and geopolitical interests play vital role in determining Russian-Turkish ties. Among various factors that influenced Russian-Turkish relations, Energy variable is very important. In a way that cooperation in energy field play great role in establishing mutual trust and maintaining good relations. So this paper attempts the main question to be answered what crucial role in the development of relations between Russia and Turkey in the past decade has?
