بررسي جايگاه و كاركرد مقوله نفي در تحليل ساختي فارسي و تبيين فرايند منفي سازي

The Function of Negation Category in the Syntactic Analysis of Persian; An Account of the Negation Process

يكي از تمايز‌هاي مهم در تحليل‌هاي نحوي تمايز ميان مقوله‌هاي واژگاني و مقوله‌هاي نقشي است. همچنان كه دستور زايشي مراحل سير خود را طي مي‌كند، اهميت مقوله‌هاي نقشي در تحليل ساختي و توضيح و تبيين مراحل اشتقاق عبارت‌ها و جملات بيش از پيش مورد تاكيد قرار مي‌گيرد. در اين پژوهش، ضمن بررسي آراي مختلف در زمينه جايگاه و نحوه عملكرد يكي از مقوله‌هاي نقشي، يعني مقوله نقشي نفي، با ارايه شواهدي به ردّ نظريه‌اي مي‌پردازيم كه جايگاه مقوله ياد شده را بر فراز گروه زمان در نظر مي‌گيرد. بر اين اساس، فرافكن نفي در فارسي را سازه بلافصل مشرف برگروه فعلي بالايي(vP) در نظر مي‌گيريم. در اين تحليل، هنگامي كه در جمله فعل كمكي (پس از فعل اصلي) يا فعل وجهي (پيش از فعل) وجود دارد، مجموعه v كه شامل فعل اصلي است به فعل كمكي يا وجهي منضم مي‌شود. سپس عنصر نفي از گره Neg حركت كرده و به ساخت حاصل از اين اشتقاق افزوده مي‌شود. پس از حركت عنصر نفي از Neg به T، اين عنصر به سازه متشكل از فعل وجهي و فعل اصلي متصل مي‌شود و صورت دستوري منطبق بر ترتيب خطّي روساختي فعل منفي (نـ + خواهد + نوشت) را توليد مي‌كند. همچنين براي نخستين بار فرمولي مبتني بر برنامه كمينه گرا جهت منفي سازي جمله‌هاي فارسي ارايه مي‌شود.

One of the main dichotomies in syntactic analyses deals with the distinction between lexical and functional categories. Functional categories gain in stature as the generative grammar moves ahead. They come into play in explaining the derivation stages of phrases and sentences. The present study critically evaluates different approaches to the role and function of one of these functional categories, namely negation. Given the evidence provided in the paper, the researcher rejects the proposal that this category is located above TP. Rather, it is suggested that NegP immediately dominates [little]vP. Accordingly, when there is a tense auxiliary (after the main verb) or a modal (before the main verb), the structure in v which includes the main verb is incorporated into the tense auxiliary or modal in the T node. Then, the negative morpheme (ne/n?) moves from Neg to T, joining the aforementioned resulting constituent. After this movement, the negation morpheme is attached to the modal+main verb combination, thus yielding the well-formed surface order of the negative verbs (n?-xah?d neve?t). Moreover, for the first time, a minimalist model is suggested for the negation of passive sentences in Persian
