بررسي موقعيت ژيوپلتيكي خراسان جنوبي و تاثير آن بر امنيت ملي كشور با تاكيد بر شهر بيرجند مسلم خسروي زارگر حسين فرزانه پور چكيـده جنوب خـراسان از قـديـم الايام بـه عنـوان يـك مـوقعيت ژيوپلتيكي مطرح بوده است. حضـور مستمر انگليسي ها در منطقه و ورود جاسوسان آلماني در آستانه جنگ دوم جهاني و حتي حضور خاندان علم در طول تاريخ مويد اين موضوع است. به نظر برخي صاحب نظران اهميت خاندان علم و ماندگاري آنها در قدرت در طولاني مدت نشانگر موقعيت ژيوپلتيكي اين منطقه است كه باعث شده بود تا اين خاندان نقش مهمـي در معادلات سياسي و غير سياسي داشته باشند. آنچه امـروز پيرامـون ايـن مـوقعيت جغرافيـايـي اتفاق مي افتد نه تنها ارزش ژيوپلتيكي آن را كاهش نداده بلكه موقعيت ژيوپلتيكي بيشتر و عميق تري به اين منطقه داده است كه امنيت ملي كشور را تحت تاثير قرار مي دهد. حضور نظامي آمريكا در افغانستان، رشد بنياد گرايي اسلامي در افغانستان و پاكستان، تجارت مواد مخدر و ... در اين منطقه مي تواند به عنوان تهديدهايي، مستقيماً امنيت ملي كشور را هم تحت تاثير قرار دهد. آنچه در اينجا اهميت دارد نقش ژيوپلتيكي خراسان جنوبي به عنوان يك فرصت در كنترل اين تهديدهاست. واژگان كليدي: ژيوپلتيك، امنيت ملي، استراتژي، هلال طلايي، خراسان جنوبي.

A survey of geopolitic position of South Khorasan and its effect on national security with an emphasis on the role of Birjand Khosravi zargaz, Moslem Farzanehpour,Hossain Abstract: The south of Khorasan has been a geopolitical area since a long time ago .The continual presence of the British in the area and the ingress of German spies around world war II and even the presence of Alam family along history approves this. According to some viewers ,the significance of Alam family and their assuming power for a long time shows the geopolitical position of the area, which caused this family to play an important role in the political and non-political balance. What happens around this geographical position today has not only not decreased its geopolitical importance but has also given the area more and deeper geopolitical position that affects national security of the country . The military presence of the United States in Afganistan ,the growth of Islamic Fundamentalism in Afganistan and Pakistan ,drugs trade, etc. in the area can directly affect national security of the country as well. What is important ,here, is the role of South Khorasan which has the chance of controlling these threats. Key words: Geopolitical, National security, Strategy, Golden Crescent, South Khorasan
