Attitude survey of physiatrist and rehabilitation professionals towards team working process in the city of Shiraz

چكيده مقدمه: توان‌بخشي فرايندي مستمر با طيفي از تخصص‌هاي مختلف است. يكي از جنبه‌هاي مهم اين فرايند، كار تيمي است. تيم توان‌بخشي شامل متخصصين طب فيزيكي، فيزيوتراپيست، كاردرمانگر، گفتار درمانگر و كارشناس اعضاي مصنوعي است، بنابراين نگرش اين اعضا نسبت به نحوه انجام كار تيمي تاثير بسزايي در كيفيت فرايند توان‌بخشي خواهد داشت. هدف اين مطالعه، بررسي نگرش متخصصين ياد شده نسبت به كار تيمي بود. مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه حاضر از نوع توصيفي- مقطعي بود. روش نمونه‌گيري به شيوه سرشماري و جامعه آماري شامل دستياران و متخصصين طب فيزيكي، كارشناسان كاردرماني، گفتار درماني، فيزيوتراپي و اعضاي مصنوعي شاغل در مراكز درماني خصوصي و دولتي شهر شيراز بود. ابزار جمع‌آوري اطلاعات پرسش‌نامه محقق ساخته نگرش تيمي بود. ضريب Cronbach?s alpha براي بررسي پايايي پرسش‌نامه، تحليل عاملي براي بررسي ويژگي‌هاي ساختاري پرسش‌نامه و آزمون t براي بررسي وضعيت نگرش مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. يافته‌ها: ضريب Cronbach?s alpha (87/0) مويد پايايي خوب پرسش‌نامه بود. بر اساس يافته‌هاي مطالعه تمامي گروه‌هاي شغلي از نگرش مثبتي نسبت به كار تيمي برخوردار بودند (05/0 > P). با توجه به برآورد درصد پاسخ داده شده به سوالات پرسش‌نامه، عوامل موثر و مخاطره‌آميز در روند كار تيمي از ديدگاه افراد استخراج گرديد. نتيجه‎گيري: رويكرد بيمارمحور، آگاهي كافي نسبت به دانش و مهارت ساير اعضا و رعايت ارزش‌هاي اخلاقي و حرفه‌اي برخي عوامل موثر در بهبود كار تيمي و اختلافات شخصي اعضا، ارتباطات درون گروهي ضعيف، پنداشت نامناسب از درخواست كمك و عدم آگاهي كافي نسبت به روند انجام كار گروهي از عوامل مخاطره‌آميز مي‌باشد. كليد واژه‌ها: ‌توان‌بخشي، كار تيمي، پرسش‌نامه تعيين نگرش

Abstract Introduction: Rehabilitation is an ongoing process with a range of different specialties. Team working is one of the important aspects of this process. Rehabilitation team includes physiatrist, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and orthotic and prosthetic experts. So, the attitudes of these members towards team working will influence the quality of rehabilitation process. The purpose of this study was attitude survey of mentioned experts towards team working process. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive and cross sectional study. The sampling method was enumeration and statistical population included physiatrist and residents, professionals of occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, orthotics and prosthetics whom working in public and private treatment centers in the city of Shiraz. Information gathering tool was a researcher-designed attitude survey questionnaire. Cronbachʹs alpha coefficient is applied to check the questionnaire reliability. Factor analysis is used for investigating the structural characteristics of questionnaire, and T-test is used to check the attitude status. Results: Cronbachʹs alpha coefficient of 0/87 confirms the good reliability of the questionnaire. Based on findings, all occupational groups have a positive attitude towards team working (P < 0.05). Effective and risky factors within teamwork process were extracted from the members’ perspective with regard to estimate the percentage of answers to the items of questionnaire. Conclusion: Client-centered approach, sufficient knowledge to other members’ skills, and compliance with ethical and professional values are some of effective factors in teamwork improvement. On the other hand, personal disputes between members, poor communication within the group members, inappropriate deemed of requesting help and lack of sufficient knowledge to the team working process are risky factors.
