Two Kings on the Verge of The Fall of The Sasanid

از مرگ خسرو پرويز در فوريه 628 ميلادي تا تاج‌گذاري يزدگرد سوم در ژوين 623 ميلادي بيش از ده پادشاه به تخت لرزان شهرياري ساسانيان نشانده شدند، كه هنوز تبارنامه و مدّت شهرياري، و حتي چگونگي پي‌هم‌آيي پاره‌اي از آنها، كه البته همگي پادشاهانِ دست‌نشانده بزرگان و شاه‌گزينان نيرومند ايراني بودند، چندان شناخته‌شده و روشن نيست. نمونه آشكار چنين ناشناختگي تاريخي، در پيوند با دوره شهرياري گُشنَسب‌ده/ پيروز گُشنَسب‌ده، و خُرَّزاد خسرو/ فرُّخزاد خسرو ديده مي‌شود، و مسيله مهمّ آن است كه آيا گُشنَسب‌ده و پيروز گُشنَسب‌ده، يك پادشاه بوده‌اند يا نه، و اگر احتمالاً يك پادشاه بوده‌اند، و پيروز نام شاهانه گُشنَسب‌ده بوده است، آيا وي پس از مرگ بوران پادشاه شده بود، يا در دوره پس از مرگ آزرميدخت؟ همچنين بايد پرسيد كه آيا خُرَّزاد خسرو و فرُّخزاد خسرو، يك پادشاه بوده‌اند يا نه، و اگر احتمالاً يك پادشاه بوده‌اند، آيا او پس از مرگ آزرميدخت پادشاه شده بود، و يا پس از مرگ دو جانشين او، خسرو پسر مهرگُشنَسب و پيروز گُشنَسب‌ده؟

Since the death of Xusr? II Parviz in the February of 628 A.D to the coronation of Yazdgerd III in the June of 623 A.D, more than ten kings most of whom were stooges of the powerful Iranian noblemen and king electors and whose genealogies, duration of reigns and even the order by which one succeeded the other are still unknown and unclear ascended to the unstable throne of Sasanid kingdom. One shining example of such historical obscurity is observed in relation with the reign of Go?nasb-deh/ P?r?z Go?nasb-deh and Xwarrah-z?d Xusr?/ Farroxz?d Xusr?. The major question is whether Go?nasb-deh and P?r?z Go?nasb-deh were the one and the same king and if so and if P?r?z was simply the royal name of Go?nasb-deh, did he come to the throne after the death of B?r?n or after the death of ?zarm?gduxt? One also needs to ask whether Xwarrah-z?d Xusr? and Farroxz?d Xusr? were the one and the same and if so, did he ascend to the throne after the death of ?zarm?gduxt or after the death of her two successors, Xusr? son of M?hr-Go?nasb and P?r?z Go?nasb-deh?
