Assessment of the Performance of Andishe New Town

انقلاب صنعتي و پيامدهاي ناشي از آن، رشد شتابان شهرها و شهرنشيني را موجب شد. به دنبال تمركز بيش از حد جمعيت و صنايع در شهرها (خصوصا شهرهاي بزرگ و مادرشهرها) و افت كيفيت زندگي در اين شهرها از يك سو و محدوديت‌هاي گسترش افقي شهرها از سوي ديگر، راهبرد احداث شهرهاي جديد با هدف جذب سرريز جمعيت و تمركززدايي از مادرشهرها در دستور كار دولت‌ها قرار گرفت. در ايران نيز از دهه 1360 احداث شهرهاي جديد به عنوان يك راه حل اساسي در نظام شهرنشيني كشور آغاز شده است. اكنون و پس از گذشت بيش از دو دهه از فعاليت اين شهرها ارزيابي عملكرد آنها ضروري است. براي اين منظور شهر جديد انديشه با 75596 نفر جمعيت به عنوان پر جمعيت‌ترين شهر از مجموعه شهرهاي جديد اطراف تهران- بزرگ‌ترين كلان‌شهر كشور- را مورد مطالعه قرار داديم. در اين تحقيق از داده‌هاي مركز آمار ايران و مصاحبه با مسوولين شركت عمران شهرهاي جديد، مشاهدات ميداني و تكميل پرسش‌نامه استفاده شده است. جهت تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها نيز از نرم افزار spss استفاده شده است. يافته‌هاي تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد شهر جديد انديشه در جذب سرريز جمعيت، جلب رضايت ساكنان و تامين شغل، يك شهر موفق مي‌باشد.

Industrial Revolution and its outcomes caused fast growth of cities and urbanization. Population and industries and overconcentration (especially metropolitans and big cities) and low quality of life on one hand and the limitations of horizontal growth on the other hand, put the strategy of building new towns as the agenda of the governments aiming to absorb population overflow and removing concentration from the metropolitans. Building new towns in Iran has begun since 1980s as a basic solution in the countryʹs system of urbanism. Now with more than two decades of new towns activity, assessment of their Performance seems necessary. For this goal Andishe new town with population of 75596, the most populated new town within other new towns around Tehran-the countryʹs biggest metropolitan is studied. In this research the data of Statistical Centre of Iran interviews with the authorities of New Towns Construction Company, field studies and questionnaires were used. SPSS software was used for data analysis. The findings show that Andishe new town has been successful in absorbing population overflow, gaining the inhabitants satisfaction and providing jobs.
