The Influence of Persian Poetic Meter on Arabic Poems of MīrDāmād

با روي كار آمدن شاه عباس صفوي و مهاجرت گسترده‌ي عالمان شيعه از لبنان (جبل عامل و بقاع) و بحرين به ايران نهضت ادبي زبان عربي در كشور احيا شد كه پيشگامان آن همين مهاجران تازه وارد بودند. ركن ديگر اين نهضت ايرانياني بودند كه زبان عربي را از اين فقيهان فراگرفتند. از جمله‌ي اين افراد ميرداماد فيلسوف و فقيه معروف است. او علاوه بر آثار فلسفي، اشعاري به فارسي و عربي از خود بر جاي گذاشته است. وي با آنكه نوه‌ي دختري محقّق كَرَكي، عالم لبناني مقيم ايران، است، ولي در ساختارِ موسيقاييِ اشعارِ عربيِ خود به شدت متاثر از شعر فارسي بوده است، به گونه‌اي كه هم در انتخاب وزن‌ها و هم در ديگر ويژگي‌هاي وزني از وزن شعر فارسي بهره‌ي فراوان برده است. اين موضوع به موسيقي اشعار عربي او رنگ و بوي فارسي بخشيده است. ميرداماد در اشعار عربي خود از يك سو از پركاربردترين بحرهاي عربي اعراض كرده و از سوي ديگر از وزن‌هاي فارسي مانند وزن‌هاي دوري استفاده كرده است. با توجّه به نمونه‌هاي موجود مي‌توان نتيجه گرفت كه ميرداماد به هنگام سُرودن اشعار عربي‌اش تحت تاثير اشعار فارسي مولوي و حافظ بوده است. براي بررسي اين موارد از شيوه‌ي نقد تطبيقي استفاده شده است.

After the rise to power of Shah Abbas the Safavid and the massive immigration of Shiʹite Ulama from Lebanon (Jabal ʹ?mel and Beq?ʹ) and Bahrain to Iran, a literary movement began in Arabic language and its pioneers were these newly arrived immigrants. Another pillar of this movement was the Iranians who learned Arabic from these jurisprudents, including M?rD?m?d, the famous philosopher and jurisprudent. Besides his philosophical works, M?rD?m?d has some poems in Persian and Arabic. Although on the mother side he is the grandchild of MohaqeqKarak?, Lebanese scholar residing in Iran, in the musical structure of his Arabic poems he is markedly influenced by Persian poetry to the extent that in the selection of the meters and other metrical features of his poemshe has benefited enormously from Persian poetic meter. This has added Persian color and feel to the music of his poems. He has avoided in his poems the frequently used Arabic meters and on the other hand has made use of Persian meters such as circular meter. Based on the available examples, we may conclude that M?rD?m?d, in composing his poems, has been influenced by Persian poems of Mevlana and Hafiz. These issues are examined in this paper using comparative criticism.
