The Forging of Traditions Based on the Historical Reports: A Study of the Bani Umavid and Bani Abbas Caliphate Periods

روايت‌هاي بسياري در باب مدح و ذم برخي سرزمين‌ها در منابع روايي شيعه و اهل تسنن وارد شده است. به تصريح حديث شناسان فريقين، شمار زيادي از ‌آن‌ها مجعول هستند. صرف نظر از عوامل و انگيزه‌هاي مذهبي، اقتصادي و اجتماعي از مهم‌ترين علل جعل اين گونه احاديث، انگيزه‌هاي سياسي است. اين مقاله تلاش مي‌كند تا با ارايه‌ي گزارش‌هاي تاريخي و ريشه‌يابي عوامل و انگيره‌هاي جعل حديث در باب مدح و ذم شهرها و سرزمين‌ها، استفاده حاكمان بني اميه و بني عباس از جعل احاديث براي دست‌يابي به اهداف سياسي‌شان را نشان دهد.

There are many versions and narratives concerning the overstating or eulogizing and understating or belittling of certain lands or cities in traditional sources of the shiʹites and Sunnites. According to the clear tradition of both groups, a large number of them happen to be false and forged, Regardless certain religious, economic and, social elements and motivations, the most important causes of forgery of such traditions are political. The present paper is an attempt to investigate and indicate the exploitation of the BaniUmavid and the BaniAbbasid rulers of the traditions forgery to achieve their political goals, through presenting historical reports, while analyzing the roots of the elements and motives of the forgery of traditions to overstate and understate the cities and lands.
