The Necessity of Understanding the Political History of Constitutional Era

عصر مشروطيت از مقاطع مهم تاريخ سياسي و فكري ايرانيان است، همچنين به‌نظر مي‌رسد به علت رهبري مذهبي و سياسي مراجع شيعه در نجف، اين زمان براي عراق و حتي حوزه عثماني نيز مباحث و مسايل مهمي را براي تحقيق و پژوهش دربر دارد، اما با دقت و سير در اسناد و مدارك و رسايل و مطبوعات مشروطه اول و مشروطه دوم كه دهه اول مشروطه را شامل مي‌شود، درمي‌يابيم كه سطح تحليل و نگاه و دغدغه‌ها و اولويت‌هاي مطرح‌شده در متونِ دست اول با آن‌چه بعدها به نام مشروطه و ترسيم روند آن نوشته شده و گفته شده است، تفاوت اساسي دارد. اين مقاله، با معرفي گوشه‌‌اي از اين آثار و مقايسه آن با برخي تاريخ‌نگاري‌هاي مدرنِ مشروطه، درصدد است به قسمتي از اين تحريف‌ها بپردازد. نقد اين ناراستي‌ها مي‌تواند به نوعي اصول شناخت تاريخ سياسي ايران را در ابعاد گوناگون براي ما بازگو كند. به‌نظر مي‌رسد هرچه از عمر مشروطيت ايران مي‌گذرد و از طرف ديگر هرچه مباحث عميق‌تري در انقلاب اسلامي معاصر پيش مي‌آيد، مي‌توانيم با مقايسه جريان‌شناسي و انديشه اين دو حلقه تاريخي به شناخت بهتري از تاريخ سياسي ايران دست يابيم.

Constituional Era is one of the important periods in the Iranian political and intellectual history. Furthermore, it seems that this time contaias noteworthy issues and subjects for respurch in Iraq and even during the Ottoman Empire, in the light of shiite authorities’ religious and political leadership. Pondering the documents, records, treatises, and the press during the first and second constitutional are, i.e. the first decade of the constitutional, however, shows serious difference between the analysis level, distresses, and the priorities mentioned in these firsthand documents and those written and told later in the name of the constitutional and in the process of sketching this period. By reviewing parts of these works and by comparing these works with some of the modern historiographies done during the constitutional, this article tries to mention some of these distortions. Revealing these dishonesties can show us somehow the principles needed in understanding the different aspects of the political history of Iran. It seems that the more time passed from the constitutional and on the other hand the more profound issues posed in the contemporary Islamic revolution, we can understand better the political history of Iran by comparing these two processes intellectually.
