Evaluation of Gender Equality in Iranʹʹs Educational System

هدف تحقيق حاضر ارزشيابي تحقق عدالت جنسيتي در نظام آموزشي ايران به عنوان يكي از مهم-ترين اهداف ملي و بين المللي است، تحقيق از نوع ارزشيابي است و روش تحقيق تحليل ثانويه داده‌هاي سرشماري سال 1390 است. نتايج حاكي از آن است كه در مجموع در گروه هاي سني تا 34 سال در نقاط شهري در گروه هاي سني تا 39 سال و در نقاط روستايي در گروه هاي سني تا 24 سال، عدالت جنسيتي در آموزش وجود دارد و بيشترين بي‌عدالتي هاي آموزشي در گروه هاي عمده سني بالاتر از 35 سال مشاهده مي شود. همچنين تحليل مقاطع مختلف تحصيلي اشاره به آن دارد كه در مقطع ابتدايي عدالت جنسيتي در آموزش حاصل شده است و در مقاطع راهنمايي، متوسطه و آموزش عالي، بي‌عدالتي به ضرر دختران و تنها در دوره پيش دانشگاهي بي‌عدالتي به ضرر پسران وجود دارد.

The aim of this study is the evaluation of gender equality in Iranʹs educational system, as it is regarded as being one of the most important national and international goals. An evaluative research method, along with a secondary analysis method of Iranʹs 2011 census analysis, have been employed for this purpose.Results show that, in total, the age group of up to 34 years old, those in the age group of up to 39 years old located in urban areas, and those in the age group of up to 24 years old, who were inhabitants of rural areas, gender equality can be found within Iranʹs educational system. The most obvious cases of gender inequality in Iranʹs educational system, can be found in the age group of those above 35 years of age. In addition to these findings, analysis of the different educational levels, shows that we have gender equality at the primary school level. In lower secondary and upper secondary levels and in higher education, the preference is directed towards male students, with female students finding gender equality only at pre-university level.
