گستره‌ي مفهوم زيبايي در كتاب مقدس و تاثير آن بر زيبايي‌شناسي آكويني

The Scope of the Concept of Beauty in the Bible and Its Impact on Aquinasʹʹs Aesthetics

چكيده يكي از منابعي كه بر زيبايي‌شناسي آكويني بسيار موثر بوده آموزه‌هاي كتاب مقدس است. سعي آكويني همواره بر آن بوده كه نشان دهد اين آموزه‌ها با دستاوردهاي انديشه‌ي فلسفي در خصوص خداوند، جهان و انسان سازگاري دارد. اين امر در خصوص مساله‌ي زيبايي نيز صحّت دارد. مقاله‌ي حاضر در پي اثبات اين مدعا است كه الفاظ متعددي در كتاب مقدس وجود دارند كه به «زيبايي» ترجمه شده‌اند و به گستره‌هاي معنايي متفاوتي دلالت دارند. بر همين اساس، مصاديق متنوع و متفاوتي نيز براي زيبايي در كتاب مقدس يافت مي‌شود. به همين صورت، بحث از زيبايي نزد آكويني نيز گستره‌ي وسيعي را شامل مي‌شود. مهم‌ترين مصاديق زيبايي در كتاب مقدس عبارتند از زيبايي خداي پسر به عنوان شخص دوم تثليث، زيبايي جهان و زيبايي انسان. بر همين اساس، در زيبايي‌شناسي آكويني نيز با اين تنوع در خصوص زيبايي مواجه‌ايم. آكويني به لحاظ تعيين مصاديق زيبايي، نحوه‌ي ارتباط و نسبت آنها با يكديگر و نيز درجه‌بندي آنها به ميزان قابل توجهي از كتاب مقدس تبعيت كرده و انديشه‌هاي خود را با آن آموزه‌ها منطبق ساخته است.

Abstract Among different sources the one which made a considerable impact upon Aquinas’ aesthetics is the teachings of the Bible. Aquinas has always tried to prove that these teachings are compatible with philosophical thought’s achievements on God, universe and human. This idea is also applicable to aesthetics. This article is to validate the claim about existence of several words in the Bible which are translated as "beauty" and are referring to different dimensions of meaning. Accordingly, variant and different referents about beauty can be found in the Bible. In this respect, the discussion of beauty explores a large dimension of meaning in Aquinas’ perspective. The most important aesthetic referents in the Bible include the beauty of God the Sun as the second person of trinity, beauty of universe and beauty of human. Accordingly, we are encountering the same variety of beauty in Aquinas’s aesthetics. In respect of appointing referents of beauty, the sort of relation and their relationship with each other, and their classification, Aquinas has considerably followed the Holy Bible’s teachings and has matched his ideas with.
