بررسي رابطه هوش هيجاني و مهارتهاي اجتماعي باپيشرفت تحصيلي دانش‌آموزان مقطع دوم متوسطه شهر تبريز در سال تحصيلي 89-1388

The Investigation of relationship between emotional intelligence and Social Skills with the educational progress of the second- grade light school Students in Tabriz, 2009-2010

مطالعه حاضر براي بررسي و تعيين رابطه هوش هيجاني و مهارت‌هاي اجتماعي با پيشرفت تحصيلي دانش‌آموزان مقطع دوم متوسطه انجام شده است. مطالعه از نوع پيمايشي و همبستگي است. بدين منظور 385 دانش‌آموز دختر و پسر مقطع دوم دبيرستان كه در سال تحصيلي 89-1388 در شهر تبريز مشغول به تحصيل بودند به شيوه نمونه‌گيري تصادفي طبقه‌اي انتخاب شدند. براي جمع‌آوري داده‌ها از 2 پرسش‌نامه‌ي هوش هيجاني شات و همكاران(1998) و مهارت‌هاي اجتماعي ماتسون(1983) استفاده شد. پيشرفت تحصيلي دانش‌آموزان نيز براساس معدل آنان برآورد گرديد. داده‌ها با آزمون‌هاي آماري ضريب همبستگي پيرسون و رگرسيون چندگانه مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. نتايج تحليل نشان داد كه بين هوش‌هيجاني و پيشرفت تحصيلي دانش‌آموزان، همبستگي مستقيم معني‌دار وجود داشت ولي بين مهارتهاي اجتماعي و پيشرفت تحصيلي، همبستگي معني‌دار نبود. در نهايت نتايج تحليل رگرسيون به منظور تبيين سهم هر يك از متغيرهاي هوش هيجاني،‌ مهارت‌هاي اجتماعي به تفكيك در پيش‌بيني پيشرفت تحصيلي نشـان داد كـه از بيـن دو متغير مـورد مطالعه، متغير هوش هيجاني بيشترين سهم را در تبيين پيشرفت تحصيلي دانش‌آموزان داشت.

The present article has been conducted to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and social skills with the educational progress of the second- grade high school students. This research is of corrlation one, thus database was drawn from 385 male and female students, randomly, who were studing at the second grade in Tabriz, 2009-2010. The data was collected from two standardized question naires: emotional intelligence questionnaire constructed by shut et al (1998) and social skills measure of Watson (1983). The educational progresses of the students were calculated by their average scores. The data was put into analysis by Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression. The obtained results revealed that there was a direct meaningful correlation between the emotional intelligence and educational progress; however there was no meaningful correlation between social skills and educational progress. Ultimately, the results of Regression analysis revealed that in order to define the shares of emotional intelligence and social skills in predicting the educational progress, emotional intelligence has the utmost impact on the educational progress of the students.
