چكيده فارسي :
حكما براي اثبات اشتراك معنوي وجود و ابطال مشترك لفظي بودن آن به گونه‌اي استدلال كرده‌‌اند كه مي‌‌توان سه دليل ذيل را اهم و اخص آن دلايل دانست. اين سه دليل عبارت‌اند از:
1. مقسم واقع‌شدن و قابل قسمت‌بودن وجود به واجب و ممكن و جوهر و عرض؛
2. ترديد ذهن و تردد گمان، در خصوصيات ماهيات اشيا، با بقاي جزم و يقين به مطلق وجود؛
3. واحدبودن نقيض وجود، يعني عدم.
اين در حالي است كه، از ميان حكماي معاصر، منوچهر بزرگمهر در مقاله‌‌اي كه از ايشان، با نام «اشتراك لفظي وجود»، چاپ شده است، دلايل مزبور را ارزيابي و نقد مي‌كند و آن‌گاه مدعي مشترك لفظي‌بودن وجود و نفي اشتراك معنوي آن شده است. نگارنده در اين نوشتار كوشيده است همه نقدهاي بزرگمهر را عيناً نقل و سپس آن‌ها را جز به جز بررسي و نقد كند و همچنين، با ابتناي بر اصول و مباني صدرايي به ايضاح نقاط ضعف نقدهاي وي بپردازد و يك به يك آن‌ها را باطل و طرد كند و جوانب صحت و دقت منطوي در بطن دلايل سه‌گانه مورد نظر را ظاهر سازد و برخلاف راي و نظر وي، اشتراك معنوي وجود را نتيجه بگيرد.
