بررسي نقش علوم پايه در صلاحيت هاي حرفه اي پزشكان از ديدگاه اساتيد علوم باليني دانشگاه علوم پزشكي كاشان

The Role of Basic Sciences Education in Professional Competence of Physicians: a study on viewpoints of Clinical Sciences Professors in Kashan university of Medical Sciences

زمينه و هدف: با توجه به جايگاه ويژه علم پزشكي و نقش حياتي آن در سلامت جامعه، توجه به تربيت و آموزش نيروي انساني متخصص در اين رشته بسيار حايز اهميت مي باشد. محتواي دروس علوم پايه به عنوان يكي از مقاطع آموزشي دوره دكتري حرفه اي بايد به گونه اي باشد كه بتواند افرادي با توانايي و تبحر لازم جهت ارايه وظيفه خطير تامين سلامت جامعه تربيت نمايد. لذااين مطالعه جهت بررسي نقش علوم پايه در صلاحيت هاي حرفه اي از ديدگاه اساتيد علوم باليني دانشگاه علوم پزشكي كاشان انجام شد. روش كار: در اين مطالعه مقطعي اطلاعات از طريق پرسشنامه اي كه روايي و پايايي آن تعيين شده بود جمع آوري گرديد. پرسشنامه شامل موادي در رابطه با شايستگي هاي نه گانه پزشكي، پذيرش امتحان دستياري و نظر كلي آنها در رابطه با علوم پايه بود كه اساتيد نظرات خود را به صورت رتبه اي 3 نقطه اي خوب تا ضعيف مشخص مي كردند. يافته ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS.V.13 و آزمون هاي آماري Mann Whitney و و Kruskal Wallis آناليز شد. يافته ها: ميزان پاسخگويي 7/95% بود. ميانگين نمرات نظرات اساتيد در رابطه با نقش علوم پايه در صلاحيت هاي حرفه اي پزشكان، 97/18 (51/3±) از 27 نمره بود. گروه گوش و حلق و بيني بيشترين نمره را به دروس علوم پايه با 25/21 (63/2±) دادند و كمترين نمره متعلق به گروه روانپزشكي با ميانگين نمرات 6/10 (07/2±) بودند. بين رشته هاي مختلف باليني از لحاظ ميانگين نمره داده شده به علوم پايه اختلاف معني داري مشاهده شد (01/0 > P). از ديدگاه اساتيد، از ميان شايستگي هاي نه گانه، علوم پايه مراقبت هاي بهداشتي بيشترين تاثير و برقراري ارتباط موثر با بيمار ضعيف ترين نقش را داشته است. نتيجه گيري: يافته هاي حاصل از پژوهش بيانگر آن بود كه از ديدگاه اساتيد باليني دانشگاه علوم پزشكي كاشان، دروس علوم پايه از نظر شكل دهي انواع شايستگي ها در دانش آموختگان پزشكي در حد متوسط به بالا است.

Background & Objectives: Recent developments in basic sciences as well as discovery of novel compounds and methods in biochemistry and cellular-molecular biology fields have necessitated revision and modification of Biochemistry syllabus for Medicine and Dentistry students in accordance with other universities around the world. Since teachers’ viewpoints on course contents can be beneficial in improving the course syllabus, this study was designed to evaluate the viewpoints of biochemistry professors in Iran about this course contents. Methods: In this descriptive study, performed from Sep. 2010 to June 2011, Iran universities of Medical Sciences were divided into three classes based on the classification of Ministry of Health and Medical Education and from each class at least five universities were randomly selected. Then from each biochemistry department at least two faculty members were randomly selected and included in the study. A questionnaire including the current syllabus of biochemistry course was prepared for evaluation of the course content. Data were analyzed by SPSS.V.16 software and using descriptive statistics. Results: About Eighty Six of Questionnaires Were Completed. According to 53.38% of the respondents, the current syllabus does not fulfill educational needs of students and 42.3% believed that the current course content needs revision and finally, 42.4% believed that the devoted hours for teaching this course is not enough. Conclusion: Since the present syllabus for biochemistry cannot fulfill the educational needs of Medicine and Dentistry students, its revision is recommended.
