رابطه آشنايي با مباحث پايه و نظري رشته تحصيلي و نگرش به آن: مورد پژوهشي دانشجويان كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني

Relationship between Familiarity with Theoretical and Basic Subjects of Discipline and Attitude about it: A Study of library and Information Science Students

هدف: اين مطالعه با هدف تعيين ميزان آشنايي دانشجويان كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني با مباحث پايه و نظري رشته تحصيلي و نگرش نسبت به آن و بررسي رابطه بين اين دو انجام شد. روش‌: اين مطالعه به روش پيمايشي انجام شد. دانشجويان كارشناسي كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني در حال تحصيل دانشگاه‌هاي تهران، شهيد چمران، و فردوسي مشهد در سال تحصيلي 1391- 1390 به عنوان جامعه آماري مورد بررسي قرار گرفتند. حجم نمونه 108 نفر بود. ابزار گردآوري داده‌ها پرسشنامه‌اي محقق ساخته‌ بر اساس طيف پنج ارزشي ليكرت بود . داده‌ها با نرم افزار SPSS تجزيه و تحليل گرديد و از آزمون‌هاي آماري تي وابسته، تي مستقل، و ضريب همبستگي پيرسون براي تجزيه و تحليل استفاده شد. يافته‌ها: يافته‌هاي پژوهش نشان داد ميزان آشنايي دانشجويان سال چهارم با مباحث پايه و نظري رشته تحصيلي نسبت به دانشجويان سال سوم از وضعيت بهتري برخوردار بود. نگرش دانشجويان نسبت به رشته‌ تحصيلي‌شان مثبت بود. هم‌چنين همبستگي قوي بين ميزان آشنايي با مباحث پايه و نظري رشته تحصيلي و نگرش نسب به آن وجود داشت. اصالت/ارزش: يافته‌هاي اين پژوهش مي‌تواند به استادان كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني در شناسايي ضعف‌هاي دانشجويان در زمينه آشنايي با مباحث پايه و نظري رشته و نگرش مثبت نسبت به آن، و تلاش در جهت ارتقا آن‌ها كمك كند.

Purpose: Determining library and information student’s familiarity with theoretical and basic subjects of discipline and attitude toward it and examining relationship between them. Methodology: Population consisted of undergraduate students of Library and Information Science of ShahidChamran University, University of Tehran, and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad studying in academic year 2010- 2011. The sample of study consisted of 108 students. The data collection tool was questionnaire with questions based on Likert five-value scale. Data was analyzed by SPSS software using statistical t-test and Pearson correlation. Findings: State of familiarity with theoretical and basic subjects of discipline of forth year students were better than the third year students. Student’s attitude toward their discipline was positive. Also, there was a strong correlation between status of familiarity with theoretical and basic subjects of discipline and attitude toward it. Originality: Findings could to help educators of library and information science to identify Student’s weaknesses regarding familiarity with theoretical and basic subjects of discipline and positive attitude toward it and try to improve them.
