The Foundation of Political Management from Khajeh Nezam-Al-Molkʹʹs Perspective

مديريت در معناي مدرن آن رفتاري است كه فرد به نسبت موقعيت و جايگاهي كه در اختيار دارد براي تمشيت امور سازمان زير نظر خود انجام مي دهد. اما اين رفتار همواره مي بايد بر پايه اي نظري استوار باشد؛ به تعبير ديگر آنچه كه نوع وسنخ رفتار يك مدير را سامان مي دهد بنيان هاي تيوريك و ارزش هايي است كه وي بدان باور دارد و از آن تبعيت مي كند. اين مباني ممكن است بر اساس نوعي فلسفه ي عمل گرايانه يا كاركرد گرايانه و .. شكل گرفته باشد اما آنچه مسلم است اين كه لزوماً هر مديريتي بايد استراتژي مشخصي داشته باشد كه ترسيم اين استراتژي بر عهده نوعي تفكر متافيزيكي است كه مدير يا سيستم مديريتي از آن تبعيت مي كند.در اين مقاله تلاش شده است كه در يك مورد مطالعاتي تاثير مباني فكري و فلسفي بر روش مديريتي يك مدير بررسي و كاويده شود. بدين منظور خواجه نظام الملك طوسي، انتخاب گرديده است چراكه چندين ويژگي در وجود اين شخص جمع شده است. اول اين كه از مديران موفق و نوآور تمام ادوار تاريخ ايران مي باشد و دوم اين كه بهجهت آگاهي عميقش از مباني فلسفه سياسي مسلمين مديريت خود را بر اساس استراتژي و انديشه خاصي سامان بخشيده است.

Management, in its modern sense, refers to the behavior that one, holding a managerial position, displays in order to conduct the organization under his control. This behavior is inevitably based on some theoretical principles. That is to say, the theoretical foundation of a managerʹs value systems and beliefs contributes to efficiently organizing his conduct. The basis of such underlying convictions might be either a function-based or an action-based philosophy. Thus, any management needs to be executed via a particular strategy which, in turn, might be informed or even dictated by the metaphysical views of the manager. This study presents a case-study of the impact of Khajeh Nezam-Al-Molk-e Tousiʹs ideational and philosophical views on his managerial conduct. There are two reasons for the selection of this person. Firstly, Khajeh Nezam-Al-Molk is one of the most successful authoritative figures in the history of Iran highly praised and reputable for his innovative conduct. Secondly, evident in his managerial career and conduct is a particular type of strategy which can be regarded as the natural consequence of his profound understanding of the principles of Islamic political philosophy.
