روابط منطقي بين گزاره‌هاي حملي در منطق ارسطويي

Logical Relations between Predicative Propositions in Aristotelian Logic

يكي از مباحث مهم منطقي حملي كه بسيار به مباحث منطق گزاره‌ها نزديك است مسيله روابط منطقي بين گزاره‌هاست كه اغلب در كتب منطقي پيشينيان تحت عنوان تناقض و عكس، يا احكام گزاره‌ها از آن ياد ميشود و امروزه با عنوان استدلا‌ل مباشر مورد بررسي قرار ميگيرد. اين روابط بتدريج در طول تاريخ منطق، شناسايي شدند و نامي ويژه بخود گرفتند و درستي برخي از آنها نيز نزدِ گروهي از منطقدانان محل بحث بوده است. در اين مقاله با اشاره به تعداد روابط منطقي و دوگونه دسته‌بندي از اين روابط، اين مسيله بررسي ميشود كه آيا منطقدانان به همه روابط منطقي ممكن، اشاره كرد‌ه‌اند و آيا اين تعداد از روابط منطقي به حصر عقلي بدست آمده است يا با استقرا . و در پايان نشان خواهيم داد كه بين گزاره‌هايي كه از دو حد معين (صرف‌نظر از مثبت يا منفي بودن آنها) ساخته شده‌اند چند نسبت معين وجود دارد و كداميك از اين نسبتها بنياديتر است.

One of the important discussions in predicative logic which is very close to the discussions in the logic of propositions is the problem of logical relations between propositions. This problem was often referred to under the title “contradiction and conversion” or “the principles of proposition” in early logical books, and today it is studied under the title “representative reasoning”. These relations were gradually indentified in the course of the history of logic and assumed particular names. However, the correctness of some of them has been questioned by a group of logicians. In this paper, by reference to the number of logical relations and two ways of classifying them, the writer investigates whether logicians have referred to all possible logical relations, and whether all the existing ones have been identified based on rational reasoning or through induction. Finally, he tries to demonstrate how many definite relations exist between propositions consisting of two definite terms (irrespective of their being positive or negative), and which of them is more fundamental.
