چكيده لاتين :
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between social capital and internal motivation with academic achievement among high school students. Cluster random sampling was used to select 307 students .Then social capital and internal motivation questionnaires were administrated. To measure the academic achievement, their academic grade average was used. Collected data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise regression analyses and t test. The results showed that there is positive and significant relationship between social capital and academic achievement (P < ./.1). There is positive and significant relationship between internal motivation and academic achievement (P < ./.1). The results of regression analysis showed that only internal motivation is able to predict academic achievement. The results also showed that the degree of social capital and internal motivation among female and male students was not different. But the academic achievement of female students was more than male students. The results of research can be used by administrators of education to promote academic achievement of students.
