نوشتار حاضر به بررسي و نقد مدخل «كشاورزي و گياهان» در دايره المعارف قرآن ليدن مي‌پردازد. نويسنده ضمن بررسي مفصل كشاورزي و گياهان در قرآن به معرفي كتبي مي‌پردازد كه در زمينه كشاورزي و گياهان به رشته تحرير درآمده و يا از زبان‌هاي غيرعربي به عربي ترجمه شده‌اند. ذخيره محصولات كشاورزي، نظام‌هاي آبياري زيرزميني، باد سرد و سوزان، مزارع سرسبز آخرت، دو باغ سرسبز و پر آب، گياهان روييده در جهنم مواردي است كه در نوشتار حاضر آسيب‌شناسي شده و مورد بررسي و نقد قرار گرفته است. كليد واژگان: قرآن، علم، زيست‌شناسي، كشاورزي، گياهان، دايره المعارف قرآن ليدن، ديويد وينز.

The writer having a comprehensive study of agriculture and vegetation in the Quran introduces the books that are written or translated from non-Arabic to Arabic on agriculture and vegetation. The paper also studies critically the following concepts the writer of the given article used in the Encyclopedia: preserving the agricultural goods, underground irrigation systems, two well-watered and intensely green gardens, cultivated fields, pastures, and plants growing in hell.
