The Influence of Animal Motifs of Sassanid Textiles on the Designs of Transoxiana Textiles

آثار هنري دوران ساساني، آخرين مرحله از هنر ايران باستان به شمارمي روند. نقش هاي حيواني در هنر ساساني ازلحاظ زيبايي ظاهري و مفاهيم نماديني كه دارند، به عنوان شاخصه هاي مهم هنر ايران شناخته شده اند. در بررسي مقايسه اي هنر ماورا النهر، اشتراكات هنري اين دو منطقه(ايران و ماورا النهر) كاملاً چشمگير است. در اين ميان، تقليد از نقش هاي مختلف ساساني به ويژه نقش هاي حيواني در هنر پارچه بافي اين منطقه، بسيار معمول بوده است. بنابرآنچه گفته شد، چگونگي تبادل نقش هاي جانوري و دلايل ايجاد چنين اشتراكات هنري بين هنرمندان اين مناطق، از پرسش هاي اصلي پژوهش حاضر هستند. آثار هنري ايران كه از راه هاي مختلف سياسي، مذهبي، فرهنگي و تجاري به ماورا النهر آورده مي شدند، اشتراكاتي را بين نقش ها و طرح ها ايجادكرده اند. دراين باره، اثبات تاثير نقشمايه هاي حيواني ساساني بر هنر پارچه بافي ماورا النهر پس از بررسي ويژگي هاي ظاهري و مفاهيم نمادين آنها در هنر ساساني، با روشي توصيفي و شيوه هاي انتقال نقوش و دلايل وجود شباهت هاي هنري ميان اين دو منطقه با نگاهي تاريخي بررسي شده اند. همچنين، با مقايسه تطبيقي نمونه هاي به دست آمده و بيان وجوه اشتراك و افتراق آنها چنين به دست آمد كه اين نقش مايه ها بيشتر از راه تجاري ابريشم به اين مناطق آورده شده و به دليل اشتراكات مذهبي كه ميان ساكنان اين نواحي و ايرانيان وجودداشت، مورد توجه قرارگرفتند. درنهايت، مي توان گفت كه نقش هاي به كاررفته بر پارچه هاي ماورا النهر با اندك تفاوتي مستقيماً از روي نقشمايه هاي هنر ساساني، تاثيرپذيرفته اند.

in Sassanid art have been identified as an important characteristic of Persian art because of their beauty and symbolic meanings. In the survey of Transoxiana’s art, the special influence of Sassanid art is quite remarkable. Imitation of various Sassanid designs, especially animal motifs, was common in the textiles of this area. Therefore, the main questions of this research are about the exchange of animal motifs and the reasons behind such common artistic themes between the artists of this region. The works of Persian art brought to the Transoxiana through different ways such as political, religious, cultural and commercial, created a number of common designs and motifs. In order to demonstrate the effects of animal motifs of Sassanid art on Transoxiana textiles, after reviewing special physical features and symbolic meanings of animal motifs used in Sassanid art, the reasons for the transfer and effectiveness of such motifs are investigated analytically. Moreover, comparing the obtained samples and explaining their similarities and differences, it is concluded that these motifs were transferred to this area through the Silk trade Road and were welcomed due to religious communalities existed between the residents of this region and Persian people. Finally, it can be said that the designs used in Transoxiana’s textiles have been under the direct influence of Sassanid art with a few differences.
