Intellectual Capital and its Relation with Cost of Equity

هدف اين پژوهش اندازه گيري سرمايه فكري و بررسي رابطه ارزش افزوده سرمايه فكري و اجزاي آن يعني سرمايه‌هاي انساني، ساختاري و سرمايه فيزيكي با هزينه حقوق صاحبان سهام شركت‌هاي پذيرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران مي باشد. اجزاي سرمايه فكري با استفاده از مدل پوليك در دوره زماني 1384 تا 1389 محاسبه و با رگرسيون چند متغيره رابطه آن با هزينه حقوق صاحبان سهام سنجيده شد. بر اساس يافته‌ها، ارزش افزوده سرمايه فكري با هزينه حقوق صاحبان سهام رابطه منفي و معني‌دار دارد. همچنين ارزش افزوده سرمايه انساني رابطه منفي و معني دار با هزينه حقوق صاحبان سهام دارد؛ به عبارت ديگر، موجب كاهش هزينه سرمايه مي شود. اما ارزش افزوده سرمايه فيزيكي به كار گرفته شده و ارزش افزوده سرمايه ساختاري با هزينه حقوق صاحبان سهام رابطه معني‌دار نداشت.

This research is aimed to measure the intellectual capital and study the relation between value added intellectual capital and its components, which are human capital value added, structural capital value added and physical capital value added, and the cost of equity in the firms listed in Tehran Stock Exchange. For the purposes of the research, the component of IC was calculated based on Pulic model (1997) and its relation with cost of equity was examined by multivariate regression analysis model from 2005 to 2011. According to the research findings, there is a negative and meaningful relation between the value added intellectual capital and the cost of equity. Also, there is a negative and meaningful relation between the human capital value added and the cost of equity, in other words, it declines the cost of capital. But, structural capital value added and Physical capital value added have no meaningful relation with cost of equity.
