Principles of Jesus Christ’s (p.b.u.h.) Prophetood in the Quran and the Four Gospels

اصل نبوت ازجمله مهمترين رويكردهاي مشترك در متون مقدس مي باشد كه اين امر در قرآن كريم و اناجيل اربعه مورد تاكيد قرار گرفته است. دراين ميان مباني نبوت و منشور تعاليم و دعوت حضرت عيسي(ع) به عنوان يكي از پيامبران اولوا العزم به تفصيل مورد اهتمام آيات قرآن كريم و اناجيل چهارگانه قرار گرفته كه به سهم خود مي تواند گامي اساسي در مساله تقريب و تقويت آموزه هاي مشترك دين اسلام و مسيحيت تلقي شود. دراين مقاله سعي شده تا از يكسو مباني نبوت عيسي مسيح (ع) در آموزهاي اناجيل اربعه و آيات قرآن كريم مورد بررسي، تحليل و مقارنه قرار گيرد و ازسوي ديگر اصول مشترك حاكم بر منشور دعوت و تعاليم اين پيامبر بزرگ الهي نظير: ايمان به خدا، بشارت ملكوت، تكميل و تصديق تورات و تعليم و تبيين كتاب آسماني و رفع اختلاف در برخي از دستورات شريعت تبيين گردد و در پايان دو اصل مهم «نجات بخشي» و «فدا شدن» عيسي مسيح (ع) كه در آموزه هاي صريح اناجيل چهارگانه بدانها پرداخته شده با آيات قرآن كريم مقارنه و مورد ارزيابي قرار گيرد.

The principle of prophetood is one of the most significant and common approaches in scriptures including the Quran and the four Gospels. The principles of prophethood, the charter of teachings and da’va’h (call unto God) of Jesus Christ, as one of the Arch Prophets, have been seriously tackled in the Quran and the four Gospels, which, in turn, can be considered an essential step toward building proximity between the common teachings of Islam and Christianity and promoting them. In this paper, an attempt has been made to examine the prophethood principles of Jesus Christ in the four Gospels and the Holy Quran, on the one hand, and to explicate the common principles governing the charter of da’va’h and teachings of this great divine prophet such as ‘having faith in God’, ‘preaching about the celestial kingdom’, ‘completing and confirming the Torah’, ‘teaching and explicating the scripture’, and ‘resolving discrepancies in some Sharia’h rules’, on the other. At the end, the two important principles, i.e. Jesus Christ’s salvation role and self-sacrifice, are compared and evaluated in the clear teachings of the four Gospels and the verses of the Holy Quran.
