تاثير اندازه‌ دولت‌ها بر شدت جانشيني بين مخارج دولت و مصرف خصوصي: مطالعه‌ موردي كشورهاي منتخب عضو سازمان همكاري اسلامي

Investigating the Impact of Government Size on the Substitutability between Government Spending and Private Consumption in Selected OIC Countries

اثر مخارج دولت بر مصرف خصوصي به‌‌‌عنوان بزرگترين و باثبات‌ترين جز تقاضاي كل همواره مورد توجه محققين اقتصادي بوده است. در اين مقاله با استفاده از مفهوم كشش جانشيني به بررسي قابليت جايگزيني مخارج دولت به‌جاي مصرف خانوار در تابع مطلوبيت خانوار براي 48 كشور عضو سازمان همكاري اسلامي پرداخته شده است. با استفاده از آزمون ‌CD پسران وجود مسيله‌ وابستگي مقطعي براي متغيرهاي الگو مورد بررسي قرار گرفت، سپس بررسي مانايي متغيرها با آزمون‌هاي IPS و CIPS تاييد شده و الگوي نهايي با استفاده از روش CUP-FM برآورد گرديد. نتايج حاصل از تخمين بيانگر وجود رابطه‌ جانشيني بين مخارج دولت و مصرف خصوصي در كشورهاي عضو سازمان همكاري اسلامي است، همچنين مشاهده شد كه با افزايش اندازه‌ دولت‌ها شدت جانشيني بين مخارج دولت و مصرف خصوصي افزايش مي‌يابد.

The effect of government spending on private consumption, as the largest and the most stable component of aggregate demand always has been preoccupying many economists. In this article, using the elasticity of substitution concept, we investigate the substitutability of government spending for private consumption in 48 OIC countries. We use the Pesaran’s CD test for investigating the cross-section dependency in the data. Then the stationary of variables confirmed by IPS and CIPS tests and the regression equations estimate by CUP-FM estimator. According to the estimation results, the substitutability between government spending and household consumption was confirmed for OIC countries. In addition, the results of estimating tell that in case of countries with larger governments the degree of substitutability between government spending and private consumption is greater.
