Socialization and Failed Suicide Attempt among Women in Kalaleh City in 2008

زمينه و هدف: آمار خودكشي، خصوصاً در ميان زنان جوان در استان گلستان و به ويژه شهرستان كلاله، كه باعث از ميان رفتن سرمايه انساني، بي‌تعادلي در ساخت جنسي جمعيت و غيره مي‌گردد افزايش يافته است. هدف پ‍ژوهش حاضر توجه به چگونگي تعامل كارگزاران جامعه‌پذيري (خانواده و رسانه) در انتقال الگوها و ارزش‌ها به زنان و دختران تركمن و تاثير آنان در بروز پديده اقدام به خودكشي در بين آنان بوده است. روش: اين پژوهش از نوع كيفي است. از زنان تركمن ساكن شهرستان كلاله كه از ابتداي سال 1387 تا زمان گردآوري اطلاعات اقدام به خودكشي كرده بودند با توجه به حساسيت موضوع و در اختيار نداشتن نشاني افراد مورد نظر و نيز پاسخ ندادن بسياري از افراد، فقط 7 نفر مورد بررسي قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوري اطلاعات مصاحبه نيمه‌ساختاريافته بود. براي تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها از آماره‌هاي توصيفي استفاده گرديد. يافته‌ها: ازدواج مهم‌ترين علت ارتكاب به خودكشي بود. خانواده و رسانه، در زمينه انتقال الگوها و ارزش‌ها با يكديگر در تعارض بوده‌اند. نتيجه‌گيري: فقدان تعادل و توازن ميان دو مفهوم حق و تكليف در انتقال ارزش‌ها و الگوها توسط خانواده و رسانه، و نگاه يك سويه آنان به يكي از اين مفاهيم، از ديگر نتايج اين پژوهش بوده است.

Background and aim: The socialization process and differentiation of patterns of values in one hand, and improper interaction between them, caused a great deal of abnormalities among people. The increasing number of suicides among women Golestan Province, esp. of Kalaleh City, and its consequences, such as destruction of human capital, were the main motivation of the researchers. The purpose of this study the efficacy of interaction of socialization agents (family & media) in transmission patterns and values of Turkmen women and their impacts on the failed suicide attempt among this phenomenon has been. Method: This study is a qualitative research. Turkmen women in Kakleh had a failed suicide attempt from 1387 till the time of research. Due to the sensitivity of the issue and not having address of them, and mostly not cooperating in answering research questions, only 7 people cooperated with our study. Semi-structured interviewwas used to gather data. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data. Findings: It was found that marriage was the most important reason of committing suicide. The research findings showed there was a conflict between family and media on transmitting values. Conclusion: An unbalanced relation between concepts of right and duty on transmitting values by family and the media and the biased approach of these two towards one of the concepts was another conclusion of this study.
