بررسي جايگاه و خدمات ميرزا يوسف خان اعتصام الملك (اعتصامي) به دو ادب فارسي و عربي

A Survey on Status of Mirza Yousefkhan Etesamolmolk (Etesami) and His Contributions to Persian & Arab Literature

ميرزا يوسف خان اعتصامي مشهور به اعتصام الملك از نويسندگان و مترجمان نامور ايراني عهد قاجار است. وي تمامي حيات ادبي خود را وقف ترجمه و توسعه دانش‌هاي ادبي نموده است. ترجمه هاي اعتصامي از ادبيات مغرب و ادبيات عربي باعث آشنايي ايرانيان با بخشي از ادبيات اروپا و عرب معاصر شد. «قلايد الادب في شرح اطواق الذهب» در شرح «اطواق الذهب» جارالله زمخشري كه بارها در مصر تجديد چاپ شده و مورد توجه اديبان و فاضلان جهان عرب بويژه مصريان واقع گرديده است و همچنين ترجمه «تـحرير الـمراه» قاسم امين مصري با عنوان فارسي «تربيت نسوان» از جمله خدمات ادبي يوسف اعتصامي به حساب مي‌آيد. بررسي اين خدمات و فعاليتها موجب آشنايي مردم فرهنگ دوست ايران زمين با ادب، فرهنگ و ديگر توانمندي هاي يوسف اعتصام الملك مي‌شود. كاري كه نويسندگان اين مقاله آن را وجهه همت خود ساخته‌اند. تا چه قبول افتد و چه در نظر آيد.

Mirza Yousefkhan Etesamolmolk (Etesami) is a prominent Iranian author, translator and scholar of Qajar era. He is among the great men who devoted his literary life to translation and other cultural activities. His translation from western works allowed Iranian people to be acquainted with western literature. His works on Arabic language provided the opportunity for Iranian people to be familiar with contemporary Arabic works and made this capable author known to arabs. Some of his Arabic works include "Ghalaed-Al-Adab Fi Sharh –e- Atvagh-el-Zahab" ,a description on "Atvagh-el-Zahab" authored by jarollah Zamakhshari, which was published in several editions and was found interesting by Arab scholars specially the Egyptian scholars. His other works include translation of Ghasem Aminʹs book with the Persian title of "Tarbiat-E-Nesvan"(womenʹs eduction). Conducting surveys on his services and activities allows literature loving people of iran to be familiar with his cultural literary works and capabilities and this is the major goal of the authors of this essay.
