بررسي نظرات مشاوران مدارس پيش‌دانشگاهي در خصوص نيازها و مشكلات داوطلبان در فرايند انتخاب رشته آزمون سراسري (كنكور)

School Counselors Views on the Applicantsʹ Needs and Difficulties Relevant to the Course Selection Process of the University Entrance Examination (Konkoor)

مشاوران مدارس در خط مقدم ارتباط با داوطلبان آزمون سراسري بوده و با نيازها، مسايل و مشكلات آنها كاملاً آشنا هستند. دانش‌آموزان دبيرستاني و پيش‌دانشگاهي مشاوران را اولين منبع اطلاعاتي قابل اعتماد مي‌دانند و بسياري از مسايل و مشكلات خود را با ايشان در ميان مي‌گذارند. بر اين اساس هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسي و تحليل نظرات مشاوران مدارس در خصوص نيازها، مسايل و مشكلات داوطلبان آزمون سراسري در فرايند انتخاب رشته است. بر اين اساس داده‌هاي تحقيق با روش تصادفي طبقه‌اي از نمونه‌اي به حجم 143 نفر مشاور دبيرستان و پيش‌دانشگاهي از سازمان‌هاي آموزش و پرورش 25 استان كشور انتخاب و با استفاده از دو ابزار پرسشنامه محقق ساخته باز پاسخ و پرسشنامه مقايسه زوجي جمع‌آوري گرديد. نيازها و مشكلات داوطلبان و راههاي رفع آن در قالب سه سوال پژوهشي مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. داده‌هاي جمع‌آوري شده در دو مرحله تحليل شد كه نتايج نشان داد: نيازهاي داوطلبان از نگاه مشاوران به ترتيب اولويت عبارتند از: آگاهي از امكان اشتغال در هر يك از رشته‌هاي تحصيلي، آشنايي با رشته‌ها و دانشگاه‌ها، وجود مراكز مشاوره كنكور و مشاوران كاردان، آشنايي با چگونگي انتخاب رشته، اطلاع رساني در خصوص انتخاب رشته، دوري از عوامل اضطراب‌زا و دسترسي به انتخاب‌هاي داوطلبان سال هاي گذشته. مشكلات مورد نظر مشاوران عبارت بود از: عدم آشنايي با رشته‌ها و آينده شغلي و تحصيلي رشته انتخابي، محدوديت‌هاي انتخاب (علاقه، والدين، نمره و رتبه، جدا شدن از خانواده و ...)، محدوديت دسترسي به مراكز انتخاب رشته و مشاوران مجرب، عدم وجود اطلاعات كافي در مورد رشته‌ها و امكانات موجود در دانشگاه‌ها، عدم اطلاع از نكات فني انتخاب رشته، مشكل اطلاع‌رساني و آموزش جهت انتخاب رشته، عدم اطلاع از رتبه و نمره داوطلبان سال هاي گذشته.

s chool counselors have an important role in guiding of students for entrance exam, and their academic needs, problems and difficulties. Indeed high school students perceive counselors as the first source of reliable information for their problems. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the opinions of school counselors about needs, issues and difficulties in the admission process via the university entrance exam, and the discipline selection. Data gathered from 143 school counselors via an open ended questionnaire and paired comparison questionnaire. Based on three research questions, applicantsʹ needs and difficulties and also the ways to fix them were investigated. The data were analyzed in two stages. The findings showed that the applicantsʹ ranked order needs include awareness of the employment possibility in each of the academic disciplines, familiarity with the disciplines and universities, availability of counseling centers and skilled counselors, familiarity with the course selection methods, information about course selection, avoiding factors and conditions cause anxiety, access to applicantsʹ choices in previous years. According to respondents unfamiliarity with the academic disciplines and their future career choice and study, selection constraints (interest, parents, grade and rank, separation from family, etc.), restricted access to consultancy centers and experienced consultants, lack of adequate information about the fields and facilities in universities, lack of information about technical points in course selection, difficulty in informing and educating on the course selection the previous years are among the main difficulties and needs of the applicants.
