A Survey on the Formation and Dissolution of Modern Artistic Groups in the 20th Century Europe

دهه هاي واپسين قرن نوزدهم و اوايل سده بيستم در اروپا، دوران سرنوشت سازي در تاريخ معاصر غرب محسوب مي شود. شرايط و بحران هاي سياسي و اجتماعي از يك سو و حادث شدن دو جنگ جهاني در اوايل و نيمه قرن از سوي ديگر، خود زمينه ساز پيدايش ديدگاه ها و فلسفه هاي مختلف و شديداً متغير مي شوند كه همگي باعث ايجاد بستري براي ظهور مكاتب و "ايسم" هاي گوناگون و بعضاً متناقض مي گردند. بي ثباتي شرايط حاكم، ظهور و افول جنبش هاي فكري و هنري و به تبع آن تشكل ها و گروه ها را به دنبال دارد كه اين روند ناپايدار، چهره اروپا را پيوسته دگرگون مي سازد. آنچه كه در اين مقاله مدّ نظر بوده است، به نوعي دنبال كردن اين دگرگوني ها در ايجاد و تثبيت و از سويي انحلال گروه هاي مطرح هنري (هنر هاي تجسمي) در اواخر قرن نوزده و اوايل قرن بيست (مدرنيسم) تا پيش از دوره پست مدرن است.چيزي كه در اين گفتار لحاظ شده است سير تحول تاريخي اين پديده ها در بستر اجتماعي آنهاست.

The last decades of the 19th and the early 20th century in Europe is considered a crucial era in the contemporary history of the west. Political and social conditions on one hand, and the outbreak of the two world wars at the beginning and in the middle of the century on the other hand, brought about different and unstable attitudes and ideologies which all led to the appearance of various schools of thought and different “ism”s. The instability of the current conditions is followed by the advent and decline of artistic and thought schools, and groups and organizations as a consequence. This ephemeral trend transforms the appearance of Europe all the time. What actually is taken into account in the present article has been tracing the effects of these transformations on the formation and dissolution of well-known artistic groups (in the realm of visual arts) in the late 19th and early 20th centuries up to Postmodernism. What is considered in here in fact has been the historical evolution of the subjects in their social field.
