مسجد كبود تبريز در هنر و معماري اسلامي بخاطر كاشيكاري منحصربفرد و بسيار بديعش به فيروزه اسلام شهرت دارد. اين بنا در اواخر دوره باشكوه تيموري و در دوره قرا قويونلوها شكل مي گيرد.تزيينات بكاررفته درآن كه عمدتاً با كاشي معرق صورت گرفته است، فوق العاده باطراوت مي باشند. در اين تحقيق هدف برآن است تا وضعيت كاشيكاري در اين بنا و چگونگي آن با توجه به كاشيكاري دوره تيموري مورد مطالعه قرار گيرد.اين تحقيق بصورت توصيفي- تحليلي انجام شده است و اصلي ترين نتيجه آن عبارتست از اينكه نوع كاشيكاري بكاررفته در اين بنا عصاره تمامي دستاوردهاي كاشي معرق دوره تيموري و همچنين نقطه اوج و پاياني استفاده اقتدارگونه اين نوع كاشي در مسير كاشيكاري ايراني است و اينكه موقعيت ممتاز تبريز و متخصصان بومي مجرب بنوعي اصلي ترين عامل پيدايش اين نوع كاشيكاري- معرق- بوده است.

In Islamic art and architecture,Blue mosque of Tabriz has been known to Turquoise of Its unique and highly innovative tiling. This magnificent bulding has been formed in the late timurid period and the period of gara goyunlu. Mosaic tiles which have been used in decoration of this mosque,are wonderful and full of freshness.The purpose of this research is to study about the condition tiling of this building with comparison of the Timurid periods tiling. This research has been conducted as a descriptive and analytical. The main result of this paper is that the kind of tiling which has been used in this mosque.is the best kind of mosaic tile which has used in all the Timurid period. Tiling of this mosque is the final peak powerfull use of this type of tile in the Iranian tiling. Privileged position of Tabriz and experienced local experts is the major factor in genesis of this type of tiling.
