The study of changes and approaches in contemporary sculpture of India

بررسي و مشاهده سير مجسمهسازي در كشور هند از ديرباز تا عصر حاضر، گوياي اين واقعيت است كه هنرمندان هندي، در گذر از هنر سنتي و گام نهادن در عرصه گسترده هنر مدرن و پس از آن، عناصر فرهنگي سرزمين هندوستان را به كار گرفتهاند و با استفاده از زبان بينالمللي هنر، در جهت ارايه اين فرهنگ در سطحي جهاني، به موفقيتهاي چشمگيري دست يافتهاند. در واقع هنرمند معاصر هندي نيز چونان هنرمندان گذشته، سعي در ايجاد ارتباطي عميق با اصل جغرافيايي و هويت خويش ولي با گزينش زباني قابل فهم براي جهانيان، از طريق خلق اثر هنري دارد.مقاله حاضر ميكوشد كه با معرفي و بررسي وجوه اشتراك و افتراق موجود در ميان رويكردهاي مجسمهسازي تعدادي از هنرمندان معاصر هند به جستجوي مصاديق اين مهم و چگونگي آن بپردازد.

From past to the present, the study of history of sculpture in India , has proven the reality that the Indian artists, through the ordeal from a traditinal art to a modern art and subsequent ones , drew on cultural elements of India and using the international language of art to present this culture internationally, they achieved great prominent successes. In fact , the contemporary artists of India, as well as past artists , are doing the best to stablish a deep relationship with his native origins and his identity , through using a comprehensible language for the world and creating artistic work. This article is aimed at surveying the above noted issues through study and introducing the points of similarity and differences among approaches in sculpture used by a number of contemporary artists of India.
