عموماً ارزيابي چگونگي كاربري اراضي شهري منعكس كننده تصويري گويا از منظر و سيماي شهري است و همچنين سازگاري و ناسازگاري بين كاربري‌هاي شهري به دليل تاثيرات مثبت و منفي است كه كاربري‌هاي همسايه بر روي هم دارند. ارزيابي سازگاري كاربري اراضي به عنوان هسته اصلي برنامه ريزي شهري نقشي مهم در ساماندهي فضايي- مكاني شهرها ايفا مي‌كند كه اين امر سبب گرديده كه مدل‌هاي مختلفي براي تحليل كاربري‌ها شكل گيرد. اين مدل‌ها، سازگاري را با استفاده از ماتريس كاربري‌ها مورد بررسي قرار مي‌دهند. در اين مقاله با استفاده از نرم افزار GIS، سازگاري كاربري‌هاي مهم شهري در بافت قديمي شهر زابل ارزيابي و اصل سازگاري كاربري‌ها در مكان يابي مورد تحليل قرارگرفت. نتايج تحقيق بيانگر آن است كه كاربري تجاري، اداري و نظامي از لحاظ مولفه سازگاري در شرايط نامناسب هستند، اما ساير كاربري‌هاي موجود در منطقه از اين لحاظ در وضيعت نسبتا مطلوبي قرار دارند.

Generally, the evaluation of how urban land use reflects vivid picture of urban appearance and also compatibility and incompatibility among urban land uses is due to the positive and negative effects of that adjacent land uses have on each other. Evaluation of land use compatibility as a main core of urban planning has an essential role in special – local organization of towns. This lead to the creation of various models for land use analysis. These models evaluate the compatibility of land uses with land use matrix. In this article, compatibility of important urban land uses in old urban texture of Zabol city with GIS has been evaluated and the principal of land use compatibility in localizing has been analyzed. The results of the research show that the economic, administrative and military land uses are in inappropriate conditions, while the other existing land uses in this region have relatively suitable conditions.
