تعيين فراواني، نوع و علل استفاده دانشجويان از كتابهاي كمك آموزشي در جهت آمادگي براي آزمون پيشكارورزي شهريور ماه 1391 علوم پزشكي شيراز

مقدمه: اهميت امتحان پيش‌كارورزي از اين جهت است كه نقش قابل توجهي در ارتقا سطح دانش و اطلاعات دانشجويان پزشكي دارد كه بي‌ترديد سطح سلامت جامعه آينده را رقم خواهد زد. بنابراين بررسي راههاي مختلف آماده شدن دانشجويان براي اين امتحان ضرورت دارد. تا به حال مطالعه‌اي در مورد ميزان استفاده از اين كتاب‌ها و دليل جذابيت آنها براي دانشجويان صورت نگرفته، لذا براي رسيدن به پاسخ بر آن شديم تا مطالعه‌اي در اين زمينه انجام دهيم. مواد و روش: اين مطالعه به صورت توصيفي-تحليلي و مقطعي انجام شد. پرسشنامه‌ي پژوهشگر ساخته در اختيار 86 شركت‌كننده امتحان پيش‌كارورزي شهريور ماه سال 1391 قرار گرفت. در اين پرسشنامه موارد مختلفي همچون جنسيت، نوع سهميه، ميزان مطالعه مداوم و تعداد ساعات مطالعه روزانه، هدف از مطالعه، منبع مطالعه و دليل استفاده از آن منبع جهت آماده سازي امتحان مورد پرسش قرار گرفت. اطلاعات بدست آماده با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS تجزيه و تحليل شد. يافته‌ها: 7/57% از شركت كنندگان زن و 2/42% مرد بودند. 6/61% از دانشجويان هدف خود از مطالعه براي اين امتحان را فقط قبول شدن و 4/31% افزايش سطح معلومات پزشكي خود بيان كردند. در همه دروس امتحان پيش كارورزي 7/66% از دانشجويان كتاب‌هاي كمك آموزشي، 2/11% منابع اعلام شده از سوي وزارتخانه، 6/3% يادداشت‌هاي سر راند اساتيد و 5/1% سايت‌هاي اينترنتي را مطالعه كرده بودند. 45% از دانشجويان دليل استفاده خود از كتاب‌هاي كمك آموزشي را تبليغات موسسات منتشركننده كتاب‌هاي كمك آموزشي و 43% در دسترس بودن كتب كمك آموزشي در قياس با كتاب‌هاي اعلام شده از سوي وزارتخانه بيان كردند. بحث و نتيجه‌گيري: اين مطالعه نشان داد كه اكثريت دانشجويان جهت آماده‌سازي خود براي امتحان پيش‌كارورزي از كتاب‌هاي كمك آموزشي استفاده كردند و تنها عده كمي از دانشجويان، منابع اعلام شده از سوي وزارتخانه را مطالعه كردند كه اين نسبت 6 برابر، گوياي اين است كه گرايش دانشجويان به كتاب‌هاي كمك آموزشي بسيار بيشتر است.

Background: Pre-internship exam is very important due to its significant role in enhancing the medical students’ level of knowledge which undeniably determines the society’s health level. Therefore, investigation of different ways the students prepare for this exam is of great importance. Up to now, no research has been conducted on the rate of using these books and why they are so attractive to the students. Thus, the present study aimed to address this issue. Methods: In this study cross-sectional, descriptive-analytic study, a researcher-made questionnaire was distributed among 86 participants of the pre-internship exam in September 2012. This questionnaire included questions about sex, type of quota, rate of continuous studying, number of hours of daily studying, aim of studying, source of studying, and reasons of choosing different sources. Then, the data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. Results: In this study, 57.7% of the participants were female and 42.2% were male. In addition, 61.6% of the students stated that their aim was just passing the exam; while 31.4% expressed that they aimed to improve their medical knowledge. Moreover, 66.7% of the students studied extracurricular books, 11.2% studied the references announced by the ministry, 3.6% studied the professors’ notes, and 1.5% studied websites. Besides, 79.1% of the students used extracurricular books due to the vast advertisements of their publishing institutes and 73.3% said that these books were more easily accessible compared to the references announced by the ministry. Conclusion: This study showed that the majority of the students used extracurricular books to prepare themselves for the pre-internship exam and only a small number of the students studied the resources announced by the ministry. This 6-fold ratio indicates the students’ greater tendency toward the extracurricular books.
