Impact Islamic Revolution of Iran on Israel and United States Relations

پيرامون علت پيوند و نزديكي روابط ايالات‌متحده-اسراييل فرض‌هاي بسياري اقامه شده است كه در چهارچوب سه ديدگاه كلي طبقه‌بندي مي‌شوند كه عبارتند از: وجود هويت و ارزش‌هاي مشترك در فرهنگ دو كشور ايالات‌متحده- اسراييل؛ نفوذ لابي‌هاي يهودي حامي اسراييل در دستگاه سياست خارجي ايالات‌متحده و هدايت آن در راستاي منافع اسراييل؛ و در نهايت وجود منافع مشترك راهبردي در روابط دو كشور. پژوهش حاضر براساس همين سه ديدگاه، پيوند ايالات‌متحده-اسراييل در برابر انقلاب اسلامي ايران را مورد بررسي قرار داده است. اين پژوهش، وجود منافع راهبردي مشترك در روابط ايالات‌متحده و اسراييل را تاثيرگذارترين عامل صف‌آرايي آن‌ها در يك جبهه واحد در برابر جمهوري اسلامي ايران ارزيابي مي‌كند. براي اين منظور، ابتدا دو استدلال نخست مورد بررسي و دلايلي براي نشان دادن ضعيف بودن اين استدلال‌ها مطرح شده و در نهايت به ديدگاه سوم، يعني وجود منافع راهبردي در روابط دو كشور پرداخته شده است.

Regarding the cause of close and linked relationship between Israel and United states several assumptions have been made. The assumptions can be classified into three perspectives including: the existence of common values and identity in the two countries culture, influence of Jewish lobbies supporting Israel in the foreign policy-making system and guiding the policies the direction of Israel’s interests and finally the existence of common strategic interests in the relations. The study based on these perspectives examines Israeli-US alliance against the Islamic revolution of Iran. This study evaluates that the existence of common strategic interests between the two countries is the most influential factor which line up the two countries in a united front against the Islamic Republic of Iran. For this purpose, the first two arguments are examined and we explain the reasons for their weakness. Finally, the third view - existence of common strategic interests between the two countries - will be discussed.
