A View of Women’s Position in the Poetry of Nizar Qabbani & Forough Farrokhzad

زن در جامعه بشري و از ابتداي تاريخ تا كنون، شريك زندگي مرد تلقي مي‌شود و بخش وسيعي از انديشه‌ها، احساسات و عواطف مرد متوجه زن مي‌باشد. در همه دوره‌هاي تاريخي مختلف ادبيات عرب و ادبيات فارسي، تصويري از زن در قالب شعر و نثر ادبي ديده مي شود. اين مقاله به بررسي شعر نزار قباني شاعر برجسته ادبيات معاصر عرب معروف به «شاعرالمراه»، و هم‌چنين شعر فروغ فرخزاد كه در ادبيات معاصر فارسي به عنوان تاثيرگذارترين «شاعر زن» تلقي مي‌شود مي‌پردازد. از اين رهگذر مي‌توان به تاثير اين دو شاعر معاصر در شعر و جامعه معاصر در خصوص جايگاه زن پي برد.

From the dawn of history in all human communities, women have been regard as men’s partners. A great deal of every man’s thoughts, feelings, and emotions concerns and addresses women. In all eras of Arabic and Persian literature, some reflection and portrait of women in either verse or prose is noticeable. The current article studies women’s position in contemporary Arabic and Persian poetry by inspecting the poems of such an influentialArab poet as Nizar Qabbani otherwise known as the poet of women. On the other hand, as part of the comparative scheme of the study the researchers study Forough Farrokhzad, the most influential female poet in contemporary Persian poetry. Thus each poet is studied for their original and peculiar literary expressions, and fresh view of women’s rights and social position in their respective and not so apart cultures.
