برآورد تابع تقاضاي استاني بيمه هاي بازرگاني در ايران در سال هاي 1386 – 1380

The Estimation of province–wise demand function for commercial insurance services -2001-2007

بخش هاي مختلف اقتصادي با تاثير متقابل بر يكديگر، در رشد و توسعه پايدار موثرند. بخش خدمات به عنوان يكي از بخش هاي مهم اقتصادي، سهم قابل توجهي در توليد ناخالص ملي دارد. يكي از اجزا تشكيل دهنده بخش خدمات، صنعت بيمه به عنوان پشتوانه مالي و رواني مي باشد. نزديك به يك قرن از آغاز فعاليت هاي بيمه اي در ايران مي گذرد. در اين مدت صنعت بيمه فراز و نشيب هاي زيادي را طي كرده است و هنوز جايگاه واقعي خود را در بين اقشار مختلف جامعه پيدا نكرده و نقش مورد انتظارش را در نظام اقتصادي كشور ايفا نكرده است. در اين پژوهش تابع تقاضاي استاني بيمه هاي بازرگاني در ايران برآوردشده است.بدين ترتيب ميزان اهميت و تاثير گذاري متغيرهايي همچون درآمد سرانه، حق بيمه، نرخ تورم، نرخ باسوادي و خسارت پرداختي بر تقاضاي بيمه هاي بازرگاني در استانهاي كشور نيز شناسايي و اندازه گيري مي نماييم. براي اين منظور از روش اقتصادسنجي (تلفيق داده ها) استفاده شده است. قلمرو تحقيق از لحاظ مكاني شامل استانهاي كشور و قلمرو زماني تحقيق دوره 1386 – 1380 مي باشد. اساسي ترين يافته هاي اين تحقيق نشان مي دهد كه بين درآمد سرانه و تقاضاي بيمه هاي بازرگاني در استانها رابطه مثبت و معني داري وجود دارد و با افزايش يك درصد درآمد سرانه، تقاضاي بيمه 0/18 درصد افزايش مي يابد. بين خسارت پرداختي و تقاضاي بيمه هاي بازرگاني در استانها رابطه مثبت و معني داري وجود دارد و اگر ميزان خسارت پرداختي يك درصد افزايش يابد، تقاضاي بيمه 0/7 درصد افزايش مي يابد. حق بيمه پرداختي و تقاضاي بيمه هاي بازرگاني در استانها با يكديگر رابطه معني دار و منفي دارند، بعبارتي اگر يك درصد سرانه حق بيمه پرداختي براي هر بيمه نامه افزايش يابد تقاضا براي بيمه 0/54 درصد كاهش مي يابد.

The development dynamics between various sectors of an economy exerts an effective force towards sustainable development. The potential role of service sector in this regard is outstanding since it constitutes a larger share in GNP. In this context, insurance industry, a key segment of service sector, play a cushioning role for other sectors as it provides financial and psychological support to the entire economy. Insurance activities in Iran, despite its century long existence and experience, have not exploited its potential role in business environment and have not fulfilled its expected role in the economy of Iran. This paper has aimed to estimate the demand function for commercial insurance across the country (province-wise demand function). Attempts have been made to measure statistically the effect of variable such as Income Per capita, premium, inflation, literacy rate and compensation paid, on the demand for commercial insurance in Iran. The author has applied Eviews software and Panel Data techniques to estimate the parameters. The time span covered it this study starts from March 21, 2001 to March 20, 2008. The findings of this research indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between Income Per capita and the demand for commercial insurance in Iranian provinces. An increase of 1% in Income Per capita brings about 0.18% increase in demand for insurance. Moreover, there is a positive and significant relationship between compensation paid and demand for commercial insurances in the provinces. The demand for insurance services would increase by 0.7% in response to 1% increase in compensation paid. The relationship between premium paid and the demand for commercial insurances in the provinces, is found to be negative and statistically meaningful. In other words, one per cent increase in premium per insurance issued would contract demand for insurance by 0.54 per cent.
