معناي زندگي از ديدگاه ابن عربي مهديه كسايي زاده تاريخ دريافت: 26/6/91 تاريخ تصويب: 12/4/92 چكيده در تفكر غربي، «معناي زندگي» به عنوان يك مساله شناخته مي شود. از ميان نظرات مختلف، يكي از ديدگاه ها درباره معناي زندگي، ديدگاه عرفاني است كه اگرچه تاكنون كمتر به آن نظر شده است، مي تواند پاسخگوي بسياري از پرسش ها در باب اين مساله باشد. در پژوهش حاضر، اركان معناداريِ زندگي، از دريچه نگاه يكي از مشاهير عرفان اسلامي، محي الدين ابن عربي شناسايي مي‌گردد و جايگاه انسان و اهميت حضور وي در جهان هستي، بر مبناي ديدگاه «خدامحور» اين عارف بررسي مي‌شود. به اين منظور، بر مبناي آراي ابن عربي، ابتدا بر شناخت پذيري معناي زندگي صحّه گذاشته مي شود و سپس، به دست مي آيد كه ارزش و اعتبار والاي وجود انسان نسبت به جهان، انگيزه متعالي عشق در آفرينش و معاد و ارتقاي بينش عرفاني، معناداري زندگي انسان را در سه مفهوم «ارزش زندگي»، «غايت زندگي» و «فايده زندگي» اثبات مي كند. واژه هاي كليدي: آدم، ارزش زندگي، خدا- روح محوري، خدامحوري، غايت زندگي، فايده زندگي، معناي زندگي.

Meaning of Life from Ibn Arabi’s Viewpoint Mahdieh Kassaeizadeh Received: 2012.10.17 Accepted: 2013.07.03 One of the issues that absorbs humanʹs attention to itself in this century much more than at any time before, is "the meaning of life" which includes the reason of life and choosing its quality. This research, attempts to analyze Ibn Arabi’s thinking manner about this issue, based on asked questions in Philosophy by paying attention to some subjects like the status of human in the world, the elements which give meaning to life, God and the meaning that He gives to life, humanʹs bliss and the after-death-life and its role to give meaning to life. Ibn Arabi has a supernatural look to the meaning of life and in his point of view humanʹs existence has an intrinsic value and God creates human body for being, knowing and love. God himself is necessary and sufficient for a significant existence as His love gives a desirable goal to human and world, and the meaning of life comes from uniting with Him; something not possible in the physical world. In Ibn Arabi’s point of view, not only life is intrinsically meaningful (because it is worth living and has a worthy and satisfactory end), but also we can make our lives more meaningful, too.
