The Status of Basij in Imam Komeiniʹʹs Approch to the Strategy of "Total Defense"

ارزيابي جايگاه بسيج در مجموعه انديشه‌هاي دفاعي حضرت امام خميني(ره)، به ويژه از زاويه اصول و فرمول دفاع همه‌جانبه، از طريق بررسي نظريه «بازدارندگي مبتني بر بسيج مردمي» به غناي نظري بحث خواهد افزود. در همين ارتباط توجه به سابقه اهتمام به مقوله «نظامي‌گري مبتني بر توان مردمي» در آثار حضرت امام راه‌گشا خواهد بود. در اين زمينه آثاري چون «كشف‌الاسرار» و «حكومت اسلامي» شواهد مشخصي را ارايه مي‌دهند. فرمان تشكيل بسيج در اولين ماههاي بعد از پيروزي انقلاب اسلامي، از اراده و بصيرت امام(ره) در خصوص بازنگري در ساختار دفاعي كشور حكايت دارد؛ ابتكاري خاص كه به كمك تاكيد مكرر ايشان بر پويايي و نوآوري اين نهاد مردمي در حوزه‌هاي آموزش نظامي، عقيدتي، ... از بالندگي لازم برخوردار شد. در اين ميان پافشاري بر اهدافي چون فرهنگ‌سازي ملهم از شهادت‌طلبي قابل تامل است.

An assessment of the status of Basij in Imam Khomeiniʹs defense thoughts, notably in terms of the principle of "total defense", by studying the theory of "deterrence based on the popular mobilization", will enhance futher the theoretical richness of the subject. Accordingly, a focus on the efforts made to promote the subject of "militarism based on thd popular copability" made by Imam in his works will pave the way, as there is clear evidence in woks such as "Kashf-ol-Asrar" (the discovery of the secrets) and "the Islamic government". His ordering Basij to be established in the first months immediately after the victory of the Islamic republic of Iran indicates Imamʹs vision and will regarding the revision of the countryʹs defense structure, a particular initiative which thrived adequately by the virtue of his continuing emphasis upon the dynamism and innovation on the part of this popular institution in eareas like idealogic, military, training. Among these, one can elaborate on his insistence on objectives such as culture making inspired by martyrdom seeking actions.
