Religious Dimensions of the Independence in the Iran National Culture and its Effect on Relationship with the U.S

خت ارزش‌ها و ويژگي هاي موجود در فرهنگ ملي هر كشوري، از آن جهت كه در تكوين هويت آن كشور و استمرار آن نقش مهمي دارد، بسيار ضروري است. از اين حيث، جمهوري اسلامي ايران نيز داراي جنبه‌هاي خاصي از فرهنگ عمومي و ملي است كه حاصل تجربه تاريخي ملت در برخورد با حوادث و پديده هاي سياسي آن مي باشد؛ فرهنگي كه در اغلب موارد چالش هايي را فراروي كشورها، به ويژه كشورهاي غربي و در راس آن آمريكا كه از طريق ابزار تحريم اقتصادي، خواسته هاي نامشروعي را در قبال برنامه هسته اي ايران پيگيري مي كنند، قرار مي دهد. نوشتار حاضر ضمن تمهيد پشتوانه نظري مبتني بر محروميت نسبي و هويت، در مقام پاسخ‌گويي به اين سوال است كه چه عواملي طي سال هاي اخير موجب شده است تا جمهوري اسلامي ايران علي رغم فشارهاي اقتصادي حاصل از تحريم، همچنان در قبال ادامه فعاليت هسته اي خود پافشاري كند. پژوهش حاضر با روش توصيفي و تحليلي صورت گرفته و گردآوري اطلاعات به‌صورت مطالعات كتابخانه اي و اسنادي شامل كتاب ها، مقالات تخصصي و اينترنت بوده است. نتايج تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد مولفه‌هاي مذهبي استقلال طلبي در فرهنگ ملي ايران باعث گرديده تا نظام جمهوري اسلامي ايران بر حقوق خود به ويژه در زمينه فعاليت صلح‌آميز هسته اي با در نظر گرفتن مسايل راهبردي براي نسل هاي آينده مبادرت ورزد و اثرات سو تحريم را به خوداتكايي بيشتر و تاثيرگذاري افزون تر در سطح نظام بين الملل تبديل كند.

It is essential to know the values and characteristics of the national culture of each country, since it plays an important role in the development and perpetuation of the country`s identity. In this respect, Iran, too, has certain aspects of public and national culture resulting from the nation’s historical experience in facing with its political events and phenomena. The culture that bring challenges about countries, especially the western countries with the U.S on top which follow their goals against Iran`s nuclear program by determining economic sanctions. This article, by contriving theoritical support based on relative exclusion and identity, is seeking to answer this question that, “in recent years, what has caused Iran to persist on the continuation of its nuclear program, despite the economic pressures resulting from the sanctions?” The present research is done by descriptive and analytical method and collecting data from library and documentary studies, including books, scholarly articles, and the internet. The results show that religious dimensions of independence in Iran`s national culture has made the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasize on its rights, especially in the field of peaceful nuclear activities, and change the bad effects of the sanctions to the more self-reliance and further effectiveness in the international system level.
