عوامل اثرگذار بر فرايند كناره‌گيري از ورزش قهرماني در ورزشكاران بازنشسته‌ي ايراني

Factors influencing the sports career termination process among retired Iranian athletes

هدف پژوهش حاضر، بررسي ارتباط برخي فاكتورهاي ورزشي (ارزيابي ذهني در مورد موفقيت‌هاي ورزشي، كناره‌گيري داوطلبانه و تدريجي، و برنامه‌ريزي قبلي براي زندگي پس از ورزش) و غير ورزشي (وضعيت تحصيلي و سن) با كيفيت فرايند كناره‌گيري از ورزش بود. شركت‌كنندگان? 53 ورزشكار مرد سابق كشور (با دامنه‌ي سني 23 تا 52 سال) بودند كه حداقل پنج سال پيش دوران ورزش قهرماني آنان به پايان رسيده‌بود. با ديد گذشته‌نگر، تجربيات و عكس‌العمل‌هاي اين ورزشكاران از بازنشستگي ورزشي، با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه كناره‌گيري از ورزش قهرماني توصيف شد. يافته‌هاي حاصل از پرسش‌نامه مشخص كرد ورزشكاران تحت بررسي در سطوح شغلي، رواني‌ ـ اجتماعي و شخصيتي، مشكلاتي را درباره‌ي كيفيت بازنشستگي خود تجربه كرده‌اند. بر طبق نتايج، كيفيت فرايند كناره‌گيري از ورزش با ارزيابي شركت‌كنندگان از موفقيت‌هاي ورزشي، داوطلبانه‌بودن كناره‌گيري و سطح تحصيلات آنان همبستگي معنادار دارد. در حالي كه همبستگي بين برنامه‌ريزي پيش از بازنشستگي، كناره‌گيري تدريجي و سن با كيفيت سازگاري معنادار نشد. تحقيق ما در مجموع نشانگر اين است كه كناره‌گيري از ورزش رويداد مهمي است كه مي‌تواند اثرات زيادي بر زندگي ورزشكار داشته‌باشد و اينكه كيفيت سازگاري با بازنشستگي ورزشي چندوجهي و پيچيده است

The aim of the present study was investigation the way in which the quality of sports career termination process is quantitatively related to athletic (subjective evaluation of athletic achievements, voluntariness and gradualness of sport-career termination, and pre-retirement planning for post-sport life) and non-athletic (educational status and age) factors. Participants were 53 former male elite Iranian athletes (aged 23–52 years) who had been ended their sports career for atleast five years ago. The athletsʹ retrospective views on experiences and reactions to their retirement were described by an adapted version of the Ceci? Erpi?’s et al. (2004) Sports Career Termination Questionnaire (SCTQ). The questionnaire findings revealed that the quality of sports career retirement was related to experienced difficulties at the occupational, psychosocial and psychological levels by the sportsmen. According to the results, the quality of the sports career termination process significantly correlated by the participants’ subjective evaluation of athletic achievements, the voluntariness of career ending, and educational status. Pre-retirement planning, a gradual sport-career termination and age were not significantly correlated to the quality of adaptation with athletic retirement. Our research findings generally indicated that the sports career termination is an important life event which could have a significant influence in an athlete’s life and that the quality of adaptation with athletic retirement is multifaceted and complex.
