اجرا و ارزشيابي آموزش جامعه‌نگر به روش Service learning:يادگيري همزمان با ارايه خدمت در مركز سالمندي

Implementation and Evaluation of Community Health Education through Service Learning in the Elderly Sanitarium

مقدمه: رشد جمعيت سالمند در دنيا رو به افزايش است. بكارگيري روش يادگيري همزمان با ارايه خدمت مي تواند به منظور كاربردي نمودن خدمات دانشجويان در سطح جامعه، روشي مناسب و سودمند باشد. هدف از اين مطالعه تقويت دانش و مهارت بررسي، برقراري ارتباط وآموزش سالمندان با تاكيد بر پيشگيري اوليه و ارزشيابي روش يادگيري همزمان با ارايه خدمت در دانشجويان پرستاري بود. روشها: مطالعه حاضر مطالعه اي توصيفي و از نوع ارزشيابي مي باشد. براي اجراي اين طرح مراحل الگوي طراحي آموزشي سيستمي ADDIE اجرا شد. 14 نفر از دانشجويان داوطلب براي اجراي فرآيند به طريق نمونه گيري در دسترس انتخاب شدند كه به مدت 16 ساعت در دو گروه، در خانه سالمندان لاهيجان با حضور مربي كارآموزي نمايند. از يادداشت تاملي، بحث گروه متمركز و مشاهده عملكردبراي ارزيابي استفاده شد. يافته ها: تم هاي «تجربه خوب»، «يادگيري اهميت مراقبت رواني سالمندان»، «درس زندگي» و «شناخت سالمند» «تقويت حس نوع دوستي و كمك به ديگران»، «اهميت مشاركت مردمي»، «يادگيري اصولي ارتباط با سالمند» از مصاحبه گروه متمركز ويادداشت هاي تاملي استخراج شد و در مشاهده عملكرد تمامي دانشجويان نمره بالاي 17 از 20 را كسب نمودند. نتيجه گيري: يادگيري همزمان با ارايه خدمت، دانشجويان را در موقعيت هاي تجارب متفاوت يادگيري مانند كار با موسسات اجتماعي بهداشتي و مواجهه با جمعيت هاي خاص مانند سالمندان در جامعه قرار مي دهد و سبب درك عميق تفاوتهاي فرهنگي و ارزشها، و مسايل سالمندان ميشود.

Introduction: Aged people population around the world is increasing, therefore, as service learning method can be effective and suitable for putting students services into practice in the society. The aim of this study is to reinforce knowledge and skill of study, establish communication, and teaching the elderlies by an emphasis on precaution and assessment of the service learning in nursing students. Methods: This is a descriptive evaluative study. This program was performed by system learning design pattern of ADDIE. In this regard, 14 volunteer students were selected to perform the process through the convenience sampling. They were assigned to a 16-hour internship course under supervision of an instructor in Lahijan elderly sanitarium. Reflective notes, focus group discussion, and observing the performance, photos, and films were also applied in this work. Results: Themes including “good experience”, “learning the importance of mental healthcare giving in the elderlies”, “life lesson”, “being familiarized with elderlies”, “improvement of altruistic and usefulness sense”, “importance of public participation”, and “systematic learning of the communication with elderlies” were extracted from focus group interviews and reflective notes. In this regard, observing the students’ performance indicated the overall score of 17 out of 20. Conclusion: As-service learning method exposes students to different experience occasions such as working with health social institutes and dealing with specific populations, e.g., elderlies, in the society and leads to deep understanding of the cultural and value differences and issues around the elderlies.
