An Explanation of Security Factors Influencing Investorsʹ Tendency towards Migration

مولفه‏هاي امنيت انتظامي يكي از عوامل مهم و اصلي تقويت و تضعيف كننده ميزان جذب و دفع سرمايه‏گذار در يك جامعه است. در همين راستا، مقاله حاضر با هدف بررسي مولفه‏هاي امنيت انتظامي بر گرايش سرمايه‏گذاران به مهاجرت از استان آذربايجان شرقي تدوين شده است. تحقيق به روش پيمايشي انجام شده و جامعه آماري آن را سرمايه‏گذاران استان آذربايجان شرقي تشكيل مي‏دهند كه بالغ بر 8794 نفر هستند.از اين تعداد 390 نفر بر اساس فرمول نمونه‏گيري با روش نمونه‏گيري طبقه‏اي توام با تصادفي ساده براي مطالعه انتخاب شده‏اند. همچنين، ابزار گردآوري در اين تحقيق، پرسشنامه بوده است. پس از تجزيه و تحليل داده‏ها، يافته‏ها نشان مي‏دهد كه: ميزان گرايش سرمايه‏گذاران به مهاجرت از استان در سطح متوسط به بالا بوده و بين متغيرهاي ميزان رضايت سرمايه‏گذاران از عملكرد نيروي انتظامي، امنيت انتظامي، امنيت رواني و حفظ شان و منزلت اجتماعي سرمايه‏گذار با ميزان گرايش سرمايه‏گذاران به مهاجرت از استان، همبستگي معنادار و معكوسي وجود داشته است و اين متغيرها توانسته‏اند تا 26 درصد از واريانس گرايش سرمايه‏گذاران به مهاجرت را تبيين نمايند.

Introduction Capital and security are like two wings of a bird and always have interaction with each other so that capital cannot be understood without security. Because of this, owners of capital have always been strong supporters of security. Therefore, we can say that providing security is one of the main factors of strengthening or weakening of investment absorption in a Society. East Azerbaijan province is one of the most migrant-exporting provinces in Iran to such a scale that immigrant transmission rates of this province have been even more than provinces which have experienced war, such as Ilam and Khuzestan provinces. The results of general censuses of population and housing for decades of 60s, 70s and 80s confirm the above claim. In this context, the present paper investigates components of security which influence investorsʹ tendency towards immigration from East Azerbaijan province. Materials and Methods This Research was done through survey and the population investors under study in the province of East Azerbaijan is approximately 8794 individuals, of whom 390 were selected using stratified random sampling method. The data was collected via questionnaire. Research hypotheses include increase in rate of satisfaction from police performance leads to reduce in the tendency of investors to migrate, increase in investorsʹ psychological security, leads to reduce in the tendency of investors to migrate, increase in police security, leads to reduce in the tendency of investors to migrate, and promoting and protecting the social status of investor in the province, leads to reduce in their tendency to migrate. For preliminary analysis SPSS version 21 is used and for modelling effective factors of the study Lisrel software, version 8/5, is used. Discussion of Results & Conclusions Research findings show that rate of investorsʹ tendency towards migration from the province is above the moderate level. Also, descriptive analysis of the research variables show that investorʹs satisfaction with police performance, police security, psychological security, and promoting of social status, is above the moderate level. There is a significant relationship between variables of police performance, police security, psychological security, and promoting of social status with the rate of investorsʹ tendency towards migration from the province. Taken together, these variables explain 26 percent of the dependent variable. Final model produced in the Lisrel software indicate that the most important variables influencing investorsʹ tendency towards migration from the province are police performance and promoting the status of investors.
