Future, Scenario Writing and Categorizing the Methods and Scenarios

چكيده هدف از اين مقاله، شرح مختصر ديدگاه و تبيين انديشمندان درباره مفهوم آينده‌پژوهي و به‌دست دادن شناخت فراگيرتر حول اين موضوع و روش‌هايي است كه در مطالعه آينده به‌ كار مي‌روند و بدين منظور انواع چينش و دسته‌بندي اين روش‌ها نيز مرور شده و يك شيوه كه به مقايسه و ارزيابي كاربردي اين روش‌ها نسبت به يكديگر پرداخته، نيز معرفي مي‌شود. همين مسير براي مقوله اصلي مورد نظر، كه شناخت مفهوم سناريو و دسته‌بندي انواع سناريوها است، دنبال مي‌شود و ضمن مرور پيشينه و نحوه شكل‌گيري روش سناريونگاري و خاستگاه آن، تعاريف متنوعي كه از اين مفهوم ارايه شده و انواع دسته‌بندي‌هاي سناريوها، مرور مي‌شوند تا شناخت بهتري نسبت به جايگاه اين روش در آينده‌پژوهي حاصل شود. در اين مسير روشن مي‌شود كه اغلب تعاريف موجود، جامع مفهوم سناريو و تبييني فراگير از آن به ‌نظر نمي‌رسند، بنابراين تلاش مي‌شود با ارايه تعريفي ساده ولي فراگير، درك عميق‌تري نسبت به اين مفهوم ايجاد شود.

Abstract The main purpose of this paper is to present a brief description of thinkers and expertsʹ opinions and explanations of the concept of “Futureʹs Study” and to obtain a general recognition and knowledge of this subject and the methods used in the study of the future. For this purpose a few of categorizing and classifying ways of these methods are reviewed and a way of applied comparison and evaluation of these methods in relation to each other is also introduced. Same approach is followed for the recognition of concept of scenario and classification of different types of scenarios, and while reviewing history of scenario writing and how it shaped and its origin, broad definitions are offered of this concept and a variety of categorizing scenarios are reviewed to get a better understanding of this method and its role in the Futureʹs Study. During this paper it will become clear that most definitions of the scenario are not comprehensive enough and are short of giving a complete explanation of the subject, and hence trying to present a simple yet comprehensive definition and understanding of the concept.
