بررسي پارادايمي نسبت اخلاق و سياست در تفكر لاك

Paradigm-based Study of Relationship between Ethics and Politics in Locke’s Thought

جان لاك نام‌آشنا در سير انديشه‌هاي سياسي و فلسفي در غرب است؛ چرا كه لاك از بانيان ليبراليسم، از شارحان نظريه قرار اجتماعي، از پيروان مكتب تجربه‌گرايي، از واضعان نهضت روشنگري و در نهايت از مناديان انقلاب امريكا بود و اين همه كافي است كه بتوان گفت لاك جايگاه سترگي را در سير تفكر سياسي در غرب به خود اختصاص داده است. نظر بر همين مسيله فهم نسبت اخلاق و سياست در تفكر لاك هم اهميت خاص خود را دارا مي‌‌باشد؛ به‌خصوص اينكه لاك نسبت اخلاق و سياست خود را به طور همزمان در دل‌آموزه‌هاي الوهي(الهيات مسيحي)، انسان‌شناختي، روان‌شناختي و اجتماعي مستور نموده است و از اين حيث به گونه‌اي داهيانه علاوه بر اينكه در سنت اخلاق پيشيني فضيلت همچنان زيست مي‌كند، زمينه‌هاي ورود به اخلاق پسيني معرفت را در ساحت سياست براي متفكران ديگري مانند روسو و حتي كانت فراهم مي‌كند. به هر روي با توجه به اين محورها اين پژوهش بر آن است كه با دقت نظر در دل‌آموزه‌هاي سياسي لاك، نسبت اين آموزه‌ها را با انگاره‌هاي اخلاقي وي به بوته بحث و بررسي بگذارد. بديهي است با توجه به كاربست چارچوبه نظري پارادايمي شلدون ولين در اين جستار، مي‌توان اميدوار بود كه نسبت اخلاق و سياست در تفكر لاك از صورت صرف نظريه معرفت به سمت جامعه‌شناسي معرفت نيز رهنمون شود.

John Locke is a familiar name in the study of political and philosophical thought in the West. John Locke is the founder of classical liberalism, a commentator on social contract theory, a follower of experientialism, a pioneer of Illumination Movement, and finally, one of the founders of the American Revolution. This is enough to say that Locke enjoys a lofty status in the process of political thought in the West. Therefore, it is important to understand the relationship between ethics and politics in the ideas of Locke, especially taking into account that Locke has hidden the relationship between ethics and politics under Christian theological, anthropological, psychological and social teachings. As a result, he not only sticks to prior traditions of ethical virtues, but paves the way for later versions of ethics for such thinkers as Jean-Jacques Rousseau and even Immanuel Kant. The present study aims to scrutinize political teachings of Locke and discuss the relationship between these teachings and his ethical ideas. Since this paper is founded on the paradigm-based theoretical views of Sheldon Wolin, there is hope that the relationship between ethics and politics in Locke’s thought will finally move from the stage of being a pure theory of knowledge to sociology of knowledge.
