جنس دوم به عنوان مبنايي نظري براي تحليل فمينيستي ـ انتقادي گفتمان

The Second Sex as the Theoretical Basis for the Feminist Critical Discourse Analysis

تحليل فمينيستي ـ انتقادي گفتمان يكي از شاخه‌هاي تحليل گفتمان است كه وجه مميزه آن تمركزش بر كشف و آشكارسازي روابط نابرابر قدرتِ جاري ميان زنان و مردان در مناسبات و نظم‌هاي اجتماعي‌ است. مقاله حاضر پيشنهاد مي‌كند كه نظريه سيمون دو بووار در كتاب جنس دوم در باب چگونگي شكل‌گيري هويت جنسيتي و سوژه مونث، زمينه نظري مناسبي براي تلفيق ميان فمينيسم و تحليل گفتمان فراهم مي‌سازد. جنس دوم به رغم تقدم زماني چشم‌گيري كه بر مطالعات گفتماني دارد، از بسياري جهات سازگاري قابل توجهي با مفروضات فلسفي (معرفت‌شناختي، هستي‌شناختي) غالب رويكردهاي تحليل انتقادي گفتمان دارد. در اين پژوهش، جنس دوم از حيث ديد انتقادي، مفهوم‌سازي از قدرت و ايديولوژي، نسبت آن با برساخت‌گرايي اجتماعي، نگاه انتقادي به دانشِ پذيرفته‌شده، ارزيابي تحول تاريخي و نقش نهادها و نظم‌هاي گفتماني در شكل‌گيري سوژه بررسي شده است.

Feminist critical discourse analysis is an approach distinguished by its focus on revealing unequal power relations between women and men in their social life. In the present paper, it is suggested that Simone de Beauvoir’s theory of the formation of gender identity and female subject in The Second Sex provides a meaningful theoretical ground to the feminist critical discourse analysis. Although The Second Sex antedates current discourse studies, it reveals a notable compatibility with the ontological and epistemological assumptions of the critical approaches to discourse studies. In this article, The Second Sex has been analyzed in regard to its critical approach, its idea of power and ideology, its relation to social constructionism, its critical approach to common sense and science, its evaluation of historical changes and the role of discourse orders in the formation of subject.
