بررسي ميزان دانش، نگرش و عملكرد دندان‌پزشكان عمومي سطح شهر اصفهان نسبت به كاربرد رايانه و اينترنت در حيطه شغلي در سال 1392

Knowledge, attitudes and skills of general dentists in Isfahan about the use of computer and the Internet for professional purposes in 2013

چكيده مقدمه: استفاده از رايانه و اينترنت به‌عنوان ابزاري ارزشمند در توسعه و بهبود ارايه خدمات پزشكي مي‌باشد. هدف از مطالعه‌ي حاضر بررسي ميزان دانش، نگرش و عملكرد دندان‌پزشكان شهر اصفهان در سال 1392 پيرامون كاربرد رايانه و اينترنت در حيطه شغلي بود. مواد و روش‌ها: اين مطالعه مقطعي- توصيفي بر روي 294 نفر از دندان‌پزشكان شاغل شهر اصفهان انجام شد. روش نمونه‌گيري تصادفي ساده و ابزار جمع‌آوري اطلاعات پرسش‌نامه بود. پرسش‌نامه پس از تاييد روايي و پايايي داراي 4 بخش شامل سوالات 1) دموگرافيك، 2) حيطه دانش، 3) حيطه نگرش و 4) حيطه عملكردي بود كه به‌صورت خودايفا توسط دندان‌پزشكان تكميل گرديد. داده‌هاي به‌دست آمده با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 16 و آزمون‌هاي آماري توصيفي و تحليلي پيرسون، T-test و chi- square تجزيه و تحليل شد (05/0 = ?). يافته‌ها: 3/63 درصد دندان‌پزشكان به رايانه در مطب و 6/61 درصد دندان‌پزشكان به اينترنت درمطب دسترسي داشتند. ميانگين نمره دانش، نگرش و عملكرد به ترتيب 9/8 ± 4/23، 5/5 ± 1/40 و 6/2 ± 7/4 به‌دست آمد. ارتباط معني‌داري بين نمره‌ي دانش، نگرش و عملكرد دندان‌پزشكان و جنس و سن وجود نداشت (05/0 < p value). بين سابقه‌ي كاري با نگرش ارتباط ضعيف اما معني‌داري وجود داشت (043/0 = p value، 012/0- = r). 4/80 درصد افراد، علاقه‌مند به گذراندن دوره‌هاي آموزشي در اين زمينه بودند. نتيجه‌‌گيري: با توجه به نتايج مطالعه‌ي حاضر ميزان دانش و عملكرد دندان‌پزشكان در رابطه با كاربرد رايانه و اينترنت در شهر اصفهان در حد متوسط و نگرش در حد خوب بود و تعداد قابل توجهي از دندان‌پزشكان علاقه‌مند به گذراندن دوره‌هاي آموزشي بودند. لذا با در نظر گرفتن اهميت اين موضوع و بالا بودن نگرش اين افراد و علاقه‌مندي به كسب مهارت در اين زمينه آموزش‌هاي تكميلي در اين زمينه توصيه مي‌گردد. كليد واژه‌ها: رايانه، اينترنت، دندان‌پزشك، دانش، نگرش، عملكرد

Abstract Introduction: Computers and the Internet are considered useful tools to develop and improve health care services. The aim of this study was to evaluate knowledge, attitudes and skills of general dentists in Isfahan about the use of computers and the Internet for professional purposes in 2013. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study 294 general dentists were recruited. Simple random sampling was used and data collection tool was a questionnaire. The questionnaire’s validity and reliability were confirmed. It included four sections: demographic data, knowledge, attitude, and skills. The questionnaire was completed by the participants. Data was analyzed with descriptive tests, t-test, chi-squared test and Pearson’s correlation using SPSS 16 (? = 0.05). Results: Of the participants 63.3% had a computer and 61.6% had access to the Internet in their office. The mean scores of the participants for knowledge, attitude and performance were 23.4 ± 8.9, 40.1 ± 5.5 and 4.7 ± 2.6, respectively. Age and sex had no significant relationship with the participants’ knowledge, attitude and performance (p value > 0.05). The results showed a significant, but weak, correlation between attitude and job experience (p value = 0.043, r = -0.012). In addition, 80.4% of the participants were interested in taking part in computer courses. Conclusion: Considering the results of this study, the knowledge and skill of using computer and the Internet of Isfahan dentists was at a moderate level and their attitude was at a high level in Isfahan and a large number of them were interested in participating in educational courses. Therefore, considering the importance of this issue and a high attitude level of dentists and their interest in gaining skill, additional training in this area is recommended.
