بررسي استفاده از امولسيون آب- سوخت به منظور بهبود فرآيند احتراق سوخت مازوت

The Use of Emulsified Water-fuel Oil to Improve Fuel Combustion

از جمله مشكلات استفاده از سوخت‌هاي مايع سنگين عدم اتميزاسيون مناسب قطرات سوخت مي‌باشد كه منجر به كاهش بازده احتراق مي‏شود. يكي از روش‌هاي مورد استفاده جهت بهبود اتميزه كردن سوخت مايع سنگين، بهره‌گيري از امولسيون آب-سوخت مي‌باشد. به منظور بررسي اثرات استفاده از امولسيون سوخت و آب در فرآيند احتراق، در اين مقاله آزمايشات ميداني بر روي احتراق امولسيون آب و سوخت مازوت با استفاده از 7 % وزني آب و ماده پايدار كننده و همچنين سوخت مازوت بدون هيچ‌گونه افزودني انجام شده و نتايج مورد بحث و بررسي قرار گرفته است. نتايج نشان مي‌دهد كه استفاده از سوخت امولسيوني باعث افزايش دماي گازهاي خروجي از دودكش، بالا رفتن درصد اكسيژن در محصولات احتراق و همچنين كاهش مصرف سوخت مي‎شود. موازنه جرم و انرژي و ميزان انرژي مفيد حاصل از احتراق سوخت امولسيوني در مقايسه با سوخت مازوت بدون هيچ‌گونه افزودني از موارد ديگري است كه در اين مقاله به آن پرداخته شده است.

Lack of proper atomization of liquid heavy fuels can lead to decreased efficiency of combustion. This is one of the main problems of liquid heavy fuels since they are economical alternatives for power generation. One of the methods used to improve the atomized liquid heavy fuel is using of emulsified water and fuel. In this paper, to investigate the effects of fuel and water emulsion in the combustion process, the field tests on water and fuel oil by using 7% water by weight and durable material, and also fuel oil without any additives is conducted and the results compared. The results showed the increasing of temperature of exhausted gases, increasing the percentage of oxygen in the combustion products and also reduce fuel consumption by using emulsion fuel. On the other hand, mass and energy balances and the amount of useful energy from fuel combustion in the emulsion fuel oil compared with other cases without any additives have been discussed.
