The Narrative Function of Signs in Rabe’e Tale of Attar’s Elahi Nameh

نشانه شناسي با طرح مفاهيمي چون: نظام، رمزگان، هويت ارتباطي و افتراقي نشانه ها و... روشي ديگرگون را در خوانش متون بنيان نهاده است. اين دانش با تاكيد بر عناصر دروني نظام، سازكار شكل گيري معنا را از طريق فرايند دلالتي نشانه‌ها به تصوير مي كشد و به طبقه بندي و سازماندهي نشانه‌ها در جريانِ بظاهر آشفته و بي نظمِ متن مي پردازد. الهي نامه عطّار از جمله متوني است كه سهم بسزايي در شكل گيري و گسترش روايت هاي كوتاه و بلند در آثار عرفاني دارد. تحليل نشانه‌شناختي روايت در حكايت هاي اين متن مي تواند تا حدودي زمينه را براي نمايش نحوه ساماندهي عناصر روايت در متون عرفاني مهيا كند. اين مقاله بر آن است تا با روش توصيفي- تحليلي، به تحليلِ نشانه شناختي حكايت «دختر كعب و عشق او و شعر او» بپردازد. اين حكايت كه به لحاظ ساختار و معنا ارتباط مستقيمي با ساختار روايت جامعِ الهي نامه دارد، نشان مي‌دهد كه پيشرفت پيرنگ روايت در اين حكايت از طريق تباين و تنش در عناصر دو رمزگانِ قدرت و عشق صورت مي گيرد؛ يعني هر عنصر با قرار گرفتن در ذيل اين دو رمزگان هم به لحاظ روايي و هم از نظر زباني، شكل و معنايي متناسب با آن رمزگان مي گيرد و پردازش عناصر روايي حكايت در ضمن اين تقابل ها صورت مي‌گيرد. با در نظر گرفتن اين موضوع و توجه به اين نكته كه خود اين حكايت در ضمن روايت جامع و عرفاني الهي نامه بيان شده است، مي توان گفت كه تمامي نشانه هاي موجود در اين حكايت از لحاظ ساختاري، در يك فرايند جانشيني، ذيلِ ساختار و نظام گسترده تري به نام عرفان به معنا مي رسند و اين قواعد و قراردادهاي عرفان است كه بر چگونگي شكل‌گيري و صورت‌بندي روايت تاثير مي‌گذارد.

Proposing a number of concepts such as system, code, communicative and distinctive nature of signs etc, semiotics has established a different method for reading the texts. Focusing on internal elements of system, this science illustrates the mechanism of meaning formation through signifying process of signs, and classifies and organizes them in the superficially confusing and unorganized stream of the text. Attra’s Elahi Nameh is one of the texts which has a remarkable role in the formation and development of short and long narratives in mystical works. Semiotic analysis of tales in this text can pave the way for demonstrating how narrative elements are organized in mystical texts. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this article aims to analyze semiotically the tale of “Ka’b daughter and her love and poem”. This tale, which has a direct relationship with the general narrative structure of Elahi Nameh regarding structure and meaning, shows that plot progression in this tale is done via opposition and tension in the elements of two codes of power and love; that is, being within the two codes, each element accepts narratively and linguistically a form and meaning which is proportionate to that code and the processing of tale’s narrative elements takes place via such oppositions. Regarding this matter and the point that such tale has been stated within the overall mystical narrative of Elahi Nameh, it can be said that all signs in this tale become meaningful structurally in a process of substitution within a wider system named mysticism. These are the rules and conventions of mysticism which affect the formation of narrative.
