Historical Benefits of Khaghani’s Eulogies

از گذشتهاي دور به واسطه بار منفي مدح و اغراق در ستايش ديگران، همواره به سرودههاي ستايشي يا مدايح با ديدي بدبينانه نگريسته شدهاست. حال آن كه اين نوع شعر، صرف نظر از برخي شعرهاي سراپا اغراق و ستايشهاي غير معقول، كاركردهاي بسيار ارزشمند وقابل توجه دارد.شايد اگر شعر ستايشي نبود، بسياري از ديوانهاي شعرا اكنون در دسترس ما نبودند.علاوه بر اين خدمت ارزشمند، شعرستايشي، داراي كاركردهاي شايسته اي استكه بررسي آنها موجب اصلاح نگاه محققان وادبيات شناسان و عموم خوانندگان نسبت به مدايح ميشود . گفتني است كه فوايد تاريخي، يكي از بهرههايي است كه از شعر ستايشي حاصل ميشود.شعرا در هنگام سرودن مدايح، خواسته يا ناخواسته نكات تاريخي فراواني را در شعر خود داخل ميكردند كه بسياري از آنها را در هيچ كتاب تاريخي نميتوان يافت. در اين مقاله به استخراج بخشي از اين كاركردها در قصايد ستايشي خاقاني خواهيم پرداخت ودر آن اشارات تاريخي موجود در قصايد ستايشي خاقاني را نشان ميدهيم تا دريافته شود كه برخي از آنها در روشن كردن زواياي تاريك تاريخ مفيد فايده هستند.

Eulogistic verses have been regarded pessimistically from the distant past due to negative implication of praise and exaggeration for eulogizing others. However, this type of verse has very valuable and considerable functions apart from some verses full of unreasonable exaggeration and eulogies. Perhaps, if there was no eulogistic verse, many poetical works of the poets would not be accessible to us. In addition to this valuable service, eulogistic verse has proper functions of which study corrects view of researchers, literary scientists and readers about eulogies. It is necessary to note that historical advantages are of the benefits which are gained from eulogistic verse. Poets included abundant historical points in their verse while composing eulogies and many of these points cannot be found in any historical book. In this paper, we extract some of these functions in eulogistic odes of Khaghani and show historical hints in eulogistic odes of Khaghani to find that some of them are useful for clarifying ambiguous dimensions of history.
