كتاب‏درماني يكي از روش‏هاي كم‏هزينه، در دسترس و سودمند در درمان بيماري‏ها و مشاوره‏هاي روان‌شناسي مي‏باشد كه امروزه بسيار مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. كتاب‏درماني استفاده ازكتاب براي درمان است و به‏عنوان روشي مكمل در درمان به‏كار مي‏رود. اين روش بسته به نظر تيم درمان مي‏تواند به‏صورت گروهي يا فردي و حضوري يا غير حضوري اجرا شود، هرچند در كنار مزاياي خود داراي محدوديت‏هايي نيز مي‏باشد. اين مقاله يك مقاله‏ي مروري نقلي است و هدف از آن مرور تاريخچه و مفاهيم كتاب‏درماني، ارايه‌ي كاربرد كتاب‏درماني، مزايا و محدوديت‏هاي آن، بيان مراحل اجراي كتاب‏درماني و هم‌چنين نقش كتابداران در آن است. براي جستجوي مقالات از آبان 1390 شمسي تا مرداد 1392 شمسي با استفاده از كليد واژه‏هاي «كتاب‏درماني»، «اطلاع‏درماني»، «نقش كتابدار در درمان»، «نقش كتابخانه در درمان» در پايگاه‏هاي SID, Magiran, ISI, Web of Science, Science Direct, Ebsco, Springer, IranMedex, Irandoc, Noormags, Elsevier, MDConsult, Emerald و Proquest جستجو انجام شد. تعداد 180 مدرك به فارسي و انگليسي بازيابي گرديد. پس از بررسي مدارك بازيابي شده، تعداد 40 مدرك انتخاب شده و مورد بررسي قرار گرفتند. جمع‏بندي مرور متون فوق نشان داد كه به دليل افزايش نرخ شيوع بيماري‏هاي مختلف از يك سو، كمبود متخصصان مجرب از سوي ديگر و گران بودن اغلب خدمات با كيفيت، استفاده از روش كتاب‏درماني به‏عنوان يك روش ساده، ارزان و در دسترس سودمند است اما بايستي به محدوديت‏هاي آن نيز توجه لازم را داشت. نقش كتابدار در اين روش، نقشي تسهيل‏كننده است و زماني اجراي كتاب‏درماني بيش‌ترين تاثيرگذاري را خواهد داشت كه يك كتابدار پزشكي يا باليني به همراه تيم درمان و در كنار پزشك يا روان‌پزشك در اجراي فرايند كتاب‏درماني مشاركت داشته باشد. واژه ‏هاي كليدي: كتاب‏ درماني؛ كتابداران؛ بيماري‌ها

Abstract Bibliotherapy is one of the inexpensive, available and helpful methods in treatment of diseases and psychology counseling that today is considerate. Bibliotherapy is use of book for treatment and as a supplement method in treatment is used. Depend on opinion of treatment team it can perform individually or in group and attendance or non- attendance. This kind of treatment in addition of its advantages has some limitations. This study is a narrative overview and its aim is review of the history and concepts of bibliotherapy, its application, its advantages and limitations, its stages as well as the role of the librarian in that. For gathering appropriate articles, the key words "bibliotherapy", "information therapy", "the librarianʹs role in treatment," "the libraryʹs role in treatment" are searched in databases SID, Magiran, ISI, Web of Science, Science Direct, Ebsco, Springer, IranMedex, Irandoc, Noormags, Elsevier, MDConsult, Emerald, and Proquest from Aban 1390 till Mordad 1392. After studing the retrieved documents, 40 documents were selected and reviewed. Literature review showed that because of the increase in prevalence rates of various diseases and on the other hand, the shortage of highly qualified professionals and expensive of most quality service, the using bibliotherapy as a simple, cheap and made available is beneficial. But its limitations must also be considerated. A librarian has a facilitator role in bibliotherapy process. When the bibliotherapy will have the greatest effect that a medical or clinical librarian along with treatment team and the physician or psychiatrist to be participated in the process of bibliotherapy.
